This is honestly the biggest reason holding me back from completely believing that this will be the end for Kaido. Maybe we get signs of the dawn approaching beginning from the next chapter itself but I think if Kaido was really meant to be defeated in the next 1-2 chapters, we would have...
With Luffy putting Momo on the line for this task and the flying lanterns seemingly coinciding with the launch of this attack, does it make the most sense narratively and thematically for this to be the end for Kaido?
If not, what would be the deterrent for Momo or those flying lanterns to NOT...
Probably never going to get to play since all the convenient times for European and Pacific times are going to coincide when it'll be midnight for me lol
lmao anyways
@solis the current state of music here at least now is pretty shitty for the past decade or so.
This is one of the last few gems that we had

Though a lot of what you were bringing up is at the core of this discussion of ours, which I'll gladly...
I mean obviously no one can be that virtuous, I'm obviously coming from a relative standpoint of what it means to separate out those "horrific" ones in today's day and age, where the horrific part of it truly lives up to its name.
The biggest plus of the unprecedented diversification here on this subcontinent is all of this music you listen to and the cuisine, both of which I'm proud of having the most out of everything.
@solis well those "horrific creatures" probably almost are never going to be involved with good music/musicians to begin with
The ones truly dedicated to the craft of churning out soulful music(important) and not your textbook drudgery are almost always pure souls (from what I've seen)
@solis A lot of what you said embodies the sentiment I conveyed above in the beginning of this thread (in the context of rafi, what the music from then means to us etc..).
I can only speak for the people of the subcontinent here, but with time this sentiment and passion is slowly but surely...
@solis yes, that's because a lot of South Indian pronunciation is very fluid and smooth which can make for some amazing melodies, the language flows in a very different way than other languages here.
In hindi/urdu (and perhaps the other languages) a lot of it comes down to expressive skill and...
@solis since you can always relate to good background score, there's a music composer from South India - A.R Rahman.
Almost all of his song compositions are gems-

@AL sama Aah interestingly it's from Manna Dey's nephew. It's a great song, just heard it!
Can easily get the full picture this song is trying to paint and the nostalgia it would bring.
I will make it a point to learn Bengali some day since there are a lot of treasures from Manna and Hemant...
@AL sama very little unfortunately😅. The only exposure I've had was with a few Rabindra geet like ekla chalo and a few others.
@solis don't worry, you'll find a lot more of them now 😇
@solis Bengal is a region (west bengal in India and Bangladesh (where Al is from)) which has a massive talent pool, literature, culture of its own.
A good amount of legendary personalities come from here and excel in their own regional music (or pretty much anything) as well as the hindi/urdu...
I've followed a fair share of western music scenes but I've never seen anything of this kind, especially post WW2.
I think by now, there would be very few to attest with the sentiments I tried to convey above (like Al) and how I wish a lot of other passionate would experience this.
Here's...
