I don't think that applies to Luffy tbh. The two most likely candidates as Luffys future girlfriend/wife (if he ever has a relationship that is) are Boa and Nami and both are not from the D clan. Unless Nami is a secret D as you say.

I don't see a point of introducing a character like Imu after 900 chapters and still show him in a silhouette if he wasn't the final villain. In that case the Gorosei alone would have been enough as the highest authority in the World. But someone who has been in the shadows and ruling the World...

The last two chapters have shown how much more of a villain Imu is compared to Akainu. Akainu showed a soft side when Kizaru got emotional and said if he ever killed his best friend. Imu showed no mercy though and just killed the guy who was serving him for centuries without any hesitation.

Akainu clearly has no place alongside BB and Imu. And this has nothing to do with Admiral bashing btw. He is just your normal top tier character. Imu and BB are out of the ordinary. BB is a multiple DF eater and will be extremely powerful and Imu will be a god.

I also thought it could be Akainu. I expected Kizaru and Saturn to die in Egghead which would have forced Akainu to intervene but yeah, Oda of course went a different path. No clue who is gonna be the villain in Elbaf now.

Oden was Odas worst creation and idea. No doubt. To use and bring up a dead character to weaken the main villain and his immense hype was a joke. Kaido should have defeated him in a clean battle.
