I think Gaban uses flaming axes but not on the level of Ifrit. Same as Shanks' flaming sword technique. I don't think Rayleigh can use Asura but he uses aCoC like Zoro.

I have the opposite opinion where I hope this makes one piece fans revisit other shounen under a new light and realize that they were actually really good and that they just missed the point. Naruto is peak shounen.

I doubt it honestly. Whole manga has established Zoro and Luffy as freaks of nature who think differently from normal people. Baratie already showed the difference between a conqueror and someone who is not. Gaban will use power of love.
