I don't think any author can deal with 10 characters shining every arc, the best I seen is Jojo sticking with a band of characters rotating the spotlight. However Oda uses Luffy to solve everything too much, theres no variety like JOjo for others too shine. A enemy appears? Luffy can handle it...
