Enma was the catalyst for KoH. It pushed Zoro to stop holding back his Haki and just give the sword what it wants. But KoH is simply Zoro going all out with his CoA, and it looks like Zoro is distributing his Haki evenly across his swords. So I don't see why Enma would be a requirement going...

Uhh not the same thing. Oda draws ACoC a certain way and it's the same for every character so we can recognize when it's being used. Can't say the same for Awakening. For now, Zoan Awakenings seem to have that cloudish aura which Kaido does not have. And Paramecia's Awakenings are very specific...
