Too many snobby sword-wielders among the Holy Knights. It wouldn’t be surprising if the WSS title is just theirs, stolen from a commoner from the surface (in Shanks’ words) like Mihawk
Predictable. That's the issue with flashbacks: you already know the outcome, so everything else feels like filler. If the filler doesn't add anything new and not predictable, the flashback just falls flat.
Reading OP for the fights? Seems you’re a newbie. In any case, the anime's been showcasing swordsmen epicly lately and Oda’s leaving plenty of room for animators with his dull one-clash panels.
It can be whatever Oda wants it to be, whether he explains it in an SBS or anywhere else. But for now, it’s more likely just motion lines, plain and simple. It’s a panel focusing on the sword in motion
Predictable and a sad joke. In the Flower Room he was flexing like a wannabe against Mu and now in God Valley he’s a crybaby. That he finally didn’t pull a Vegeta makes it even more pathetic
If that's the case, then Imu is really earning the King of the Retards title! He has all the power in the world and hasn’t used it to secure the only DFs that can defeat him
Oda's showing what a candidate to the WSS title of his time could do. But since this is a shonen, it’s ridiculous to think the current WSS might have used him as inspiration to surpass him, right?
