It is about cutting.. This Shockwave made up crap from Vivre Card is baseless.. This is an actual Air based Shockwave attack.. I don't know about the rest you're proposing.. I will grant you the Whiskey Peak attack as a non cutting attack but i don't think it was a ranged attack..

I don't think that's an Air attack, it's the after effect image of Zoro personally going through them.. I don't know why he didn't cut them.. Definitely not an Air Slash attack though..
