Shit is gonna down fairly quickly, it’s not gonna be dozens of chapters of setup like previous arcs. Egghead and Elbaph already laid the groundwork. Onigashima battle itself was about 70 chapters. Thats what we should be comparing it to.

200 chapters post Elbaph is a lot of material to work with.

With the current pace of around 35 chapters per year, I think we have about 5-6 years left of the story.

I think the Imu fight could be the opportunity for Luffy to elevate his Haki strength alongside Loki. Imu won’t be outright overpowered, but Luffy/Loki will prove too resilient to be put down in the time it takes before his body gives out and will have to retreat back to Marijoa.

I’m more open to bounty updates at the end of this arc, potentially raising Luffy to around 4b. I’m still set on 5.6b at the finale, but when numbers reach the billions, it’s possible that it becomes proportionally more significant just to simply get a bounty raise of 1 to 1.5b.
