If Luffy went G5 and walked around town for 5 minutes, he'd still look like that when he came out of it. That's it's drawback.
People are really acting like his opponents put him in that state, lmao.
Always remember. Lucci never landed and single hit, and Luffy played with that man so...
People love Zoro, but only hardcore battle junkies care about where he is in the power rankings, and that damn sure ain't 55% of the fandom. There is only like maybe 100 on this site that would care enough to quite the series, and that's being very generous.
If you want to chose to believe that Luffy is in worst condition now, than he was when he Kickstarted his own heart at the end of the Kaido fight, then be my guest. Lmao...
I'm going to put this as simplistic for you as possible.
We know Luffy can restart his heart and get back into G5, because HE'S ALREADY DONE IT. It's canon.
Whatever mental gymnastics you want to pull to act like he can't, will not change that.... Ever...
You're shitting me right? Am I being punkd? Ashton, where you at?
Against Kaido, at that moment, it was all or nothing. Luffy either goes past his limit, and defeats Kaido, or Onigashima drops on the Flower Capital, killing hundreds of thousands, then Kaido proceeds to go and kill everyone...
Are you serious right now?
Luffy needs to eat the food so he can recover his strength and move. The more he eats, the more he recovers his strength, and the longer he can fight.
If Luffy kickstarts his heart, while he is already at his limit, he will only be able to move and maintain G5...
He already ate the food before he disappeared. That gave him strength back to be able to move, and go to the vending machine.
Restarting his heart is a last resort, because it comes at the risk of him dying, as pointed out by Kaido. If it's not 100 percent necessary, then he shouldn't do...
And if Saturn ordered it sooner, Luffy could have kickstarted his heart, and jumped in to save her. He didn't have to, because there was no immediate threat. He was given food almost immediately after Kuma's flashback ended. Then Kuma showed up, and Luffy didn't have to jump in and save her...
The situation wasn't critical when Luffy was asking for food. Saturn was still sitting there talking about Bonney and Kuma's past. It was only AFTER Kuma appeared, that situation became critical, and at that point Luffy didn't have to do anything, because.... Drumroll.... Kuma was already...
I'm not changing it. You're not paying attention. Awakening has a limit. It can be used past it's limit, but is comes with greater risk. That's what Luffy did in the Kaido fight. He pushed past his limit to keep fighting, even at the expense of his own well being. Kaido literally asked him...
Tbh, my biggest issue with the way Oda is using Luffy at the moment, is the fact that he feels the need to have Luffy jump right into G5, when he clearly got a massive boost to his base on Wano, and was able to go toe to toe with Kaido, without any gears.
Utilizing the drawbacks of a newly...
Newly awakened users have a limit, and it takes a toll on thier body. Law and Kid could only use thier abilities safely once I believe, and and more than that came at a high risk.
So it's either this, or Luffy awakens, and for some reason the rules don't apply to him, and he can go nuts as...
Or, you know, maybe he is just trying to get back to as close to 100 percent as possible, and has faith the crew can handle themselves for 2 minutes while he recoups.
Unless the Revos can teleport like Kuma, the chances of it being them is practically zero, as it's still the same day Kuma teleported from the Kamabaka Kingdom, to the Red Line, to Egghead.
There is no way they traveled that distance in a few shorts hours. Especially considering they have to...
This thread isn't a matter of what makes more sense, or what actually happened. It's a matter of what people were speculating was going to happen.
And I'm sorry, but speculating that Oda, after 25 years of never having the Straw Hats kill anyone, was all of a sudden going to have one give a...
No it doesn't, because for over 20 years Oda has made it a rule that he does not draw the Straw Hats killing people. So ZKK was the absolute most garbage take that has ever been concocted, because it literally goes against one of the golden rules of One Piece. It's like arguing to high hell...
