It's sometimes forgoten that Ouhon didn't escape Raigoku on his own. He needed Kanjou to create a path from the outside. Although him surviving is definitely a great testament to his martial prowess.
Combat-wise I consider Jyou Ka Ryuu to be slightly below Gyou'un and his two arms are not...
I'm tired of repeating the same arguements over and over again only for you to ignore it. The manga made it clear that Ouki only predicted sneak attack based one pre-existing premise. The thing that was not present in Sai. Which is why Ouki wouldn't predict the attack in Sai either. Deal with...
That is not true.
He predicted it based on Chousou's movements and the terrain he fell back to. That is why I'm saying those situations are not comperable. Because in Sai there was nothing to read that would suggest incoming ambush.
Riboku personally took out Shuma and rallied his...
Ok, so he lost because he didn't predict something that no other general would be capable of predicting? Got it.
The manga explained that Riboku had to conserve his forces for the main event that is siege of Kanyou with Shouheikun defending it. Basically he would have to fight his way a fresh...
That is factually wrong, since Zhao army did open the gates of Sai and was saved last minute by Yotanwa's arrival. Sai city in the first place was presented as outstanding due to Eisei's morale boosts.
I know math can be hard, but c'mon.
>Won against Xiongnu with no Houken,
>Led a massive...
Renpa admited he was geting rekt by Hakuki who I consider inferior to current Riboku and Ousen. Renpa's performance in Sanyou was also kinda meh if you think about it.
People also shouldn't take Riboku's statement about Renpa too seriously as it was from 10 years ago and only about direct clash.
Kyouen is the superior commander, but Hakurei being a better archer is not far fetched. He already considered himself top 3 around the time of coalition war and it's been years since then. He also has a legitimate feat of sniping one of Tou's best vassals where as Kyouen has no onscreen kills.
Riboku > Hakuki as far as we are talking about manga versions.
There's little to no info on Hakuki in the story, but Hara sneaked some information that can help to determin the scaling.
First, how Ouki considered Riboku unprecedented level just based on his grand plan in Bayou.
Ouki was...
Kaioku should be more then capable of keeping up if we go by the stats, but so far he didn't have much chance to show his skills so as of now Chougaryuu is a safer bet.
Ofc, there's more to it then just W to L ratio, because there's always something called context. Qin is the big agressor state set on expantion, Zhao is mostly trying to defend. For example do you really think that in prievious era when Zhao had guys like Renpa and Rinshoujo they were the ones...
His potrayal as the best general so far has been pretty clear as this was stated by multiple characters from different parties and even the narrator of the manga who called him most dangerous enemy of Qin. There's obviously the case of him being surpassed in the future, but him being above old...
