I think Moubu's ability to raise morale is severly underestimated which then leads people to weird conclusions like Moubu only being good on a small scale. It's been shown on more then one ocasion how the troops go apeshit insane when Moubu leads them to the point where Ouki and Tou were calling...
His hype doesn't outshine Kanki, lmao. Kanki's hype is as follows:
>Being called the best general in Qin at turning the tables by Mogou.
>Being compared to Ouki by Mougou (stated in guidebook 2).
>Being called equal to Riboku on few ocasions including by Riboku himself.
>Being called the best...
No matter how you look at it, Kanki had better hype and better achievements. Sure, you can consider Tou less flawed commander, but saying Kanki does not measure up is a wild take.
It's a fake hype. I don't buy it.
Shouheikun is a solid fighter, but he's nowhere near Moubu, he's just a tricky and smart duelist that somewhat lacks in other aspects. The prequel special chapter about his childhood shows that he "defeated" Moubu by attacking him when he was distracted. And if...
Don't see whats the problem with that.
She was always potrayed as an insanely skilled warrior. Later she had to be saved, because she was forced to fight waves of enemies for God knows how long.
Don't think Sou'ou is a reliable source, since he never seen Moubu in action. He basically saw a great feat of power from Jiaga and compared him to the best warrior he knows without thinking too much about it.
With that said, it's not impossible for Jiaga to be above the likes of Gyou'un...
This is a topic about the manga version of Hakuki, NOT the historical general Bai Qi who was an absolute monster. But this is where my problem lies, because many people don't seem to differenciate between the two and often try to put Hakuki on a pedestal he doesn't quite deserve due to...
You can make a solid arguement of him being the best in the old generation. It's when you compare him to new gen things get more complicated, but him being at least in top 5 overall seem reasonable.
Without Houken there's no reason to assume Riboku would have the same placement of troops or even the same plan.
He placed his HQ the way he did precisely because he was confident he is safe there. We are talking about a guy who even when traveling in rush makes a formation that secures his...
Whether or not 3GH are better then 6GG or their equals is debatable, however it's pretty clear that 3GH have stronger armies. Rinshoujo had 10 generals under his wing including Gyou'un and Chougaryuu which is absolutely insane. Renpa's Heavenly Kings are impressive vassals to this day. Riboku...
My money is on Chougaryuu. Better tactics and more impressive elites. People sometimes forget that it took combine effort of Shin and Kyoukai to overcome his pincer.
Of course if Gakushou shows more in the future then I still may change my mind.
Of course there will be progress.
The purpose here is to introduce Shibashou as a new big enemy. Houken was introduced as the man who killed Kyou and Riboku appeared in the story via his victory over Ouki. Now it's Shibashou's time to appear and kick some Qin ass. The Conquest of China was...
