Iirc the OG source is a LN with 7 published volumes or so. Funny that we already caught up to the manga with only 5 eps.

CotN is looking great so far. Overall this summer season has a lot of great anime to watch.

I definitely agree. Animation is much better than in previous seasons and Atla is handling those guys pretty well. I didn't find the time before to watch it but it's definitely peak.

Tbh Just want them to get out of that place and get to the good parts. I feel that they're staying too much time there but I think it will get better in later EPs. Unrelated I finally started watching The Fragrant Flower Blooms with Dignity and it's really good imo
