Exactly, Cross Guild can't simply rely on Mihawk as their yonko-level power and Crocodile as the YC1. They need to get the old warlords back together (Doffy, Moria, maybe Weevil) and together they'll be a genuine force to be reckon with for not only other yonkos but the world government too...

I like the idea and the recent chapter with Buggy declaring they're going after the One Piece was great. Cross Guild still needs some more development on the side of Crocodile and Mihawk which will surely be explored in future chapters, we know Croc still has aspiration to become Pirate King...

Say Buggy and the gang do bust Doffy out of Impel Down and pick up Moria from Hachinosu like everyone is expecting. With the forces of these former warlords combined, would it be enough together viably clash with other yonko crews and go after the One Piece? Will the final battle on Laugh Tale...

It's a shame this cover was made before Cross Guild was formed, I would've loved to Mihawk up here as Buggy's official #2 alongside Zoro, Shiryu and Benn Beckman :milaugh:

Roger was no doubt considered one of, if not the strongest swordsman of his time and Mihawk was there at his execution. I don’t think Mihawk necessarily wanted to be Pirate King due to the baggage that came with it but he did pursue a similar path to Roger to become the WSS and regularly clashed...

I’m gonna be bummed when don’t actually get Smoker & Fujitora vs. Crocodile & Mihawk. The match-up makes so much sense from a thematic and story standpoint.

I think it would've been far more interesting for Hancock's character if the marines successfully apprehended her at Amazon Lily and threw her into Impel Down. There could've been a whole subplot with Doffy, Boa and Weevil, all former warlords now in level 6 of impel down after the abolishment...

I like Koby's spirit. He sticks up for the fodder marines who are sent out to die every day. That's the quality of a supreme king.
