I thought we were on schedule this week? I understand Oda needs time but I'm so sick of all of these breaks and delays. It almost feels like I should stop reading for 6 months just so that I can binge read 6 months worth of chapters and enjoy the experience. This week to week stuff isn't cutting...
1.) Luffy one-shotting Blackbeard. The final boss battle needs to be EPIC.
2.) Shanks not getting sufficient panel time when the time comes. This one scares me. I have a feeling that Big Mom when its all said and done will have gotten more panel time than Shanks. I want a Shanks/Luffy...
It's too late to drop it at this point. I mean it only takes like 3 minutes to get through a chapter it's not that bad, might as well see how the story ends despite Wano being disappointing.
I do like Gear 5 but this shit is way too goofy for a final battle even by OP standards. Luffy is hax AF now. I don't know how the battles with the Admirals, Gorosei, Shanks, or Blackbeard even play out at this point. I really hope Kaido doesn't go down without showing us his Awakening.
Nah it's more like: Joy boy > G4 > Zoro > Base Luffy
Zoro can use CoC too and sliced through Kaido's chest. Before that in Dressrosa he wrecked Giant Pica. He defeated King. Base Luffy using CoC is not getting up from Ashura or Zoro's CoC Hell attacks. Snakeman on the other hand would be too...
Yep this is exactly what's going to happen. Luffy died much like Ichigo died against Ulquiorra. Joy Boy awakening will give him an unconscious mode much like Hollow Ichigo where he defeats Kaido then is possibly fully recovered post fight. Luffy will still be the victor, but he may be angry...
I've been binge-watching the anime for a while now and only caught up some time ago when the manga was in the Zou arc. At that point I wanted to know what happened next, (but didn't have the patience to wait weekly for the anime seeing as I had caught all the way up. The anime is dreadful if...
Zoro is "dead" right now and the aftereffects of the drug haven't even been shown so he's done. I think Sanji is done too. Law and Kidd are done.
It's all on Luffy, Yamato, and Zunisha now.
What I'm getting at is there needs to be some ramifications at some point with the heroes failing. It makes for a better story. Fishman Island they stopped the arc from crashing. Dressrosa they stopped the bird Cage. It's all the same shit. At some point the heroes need to take an L. I guess...
Yeah this arc has been long AF, but at this point its been going so long that ending it abruptly in a non-sensical manner would just make things worse.
Yeah you're probably right. Hopefully Oda makes the right decisions in ending the arc because for Luffy to just tank ANOTHER high level Yonko...
Zunisha. Something involving the elephant will create a scene that allows them to escape. That's my guess.
There needs to be some kind of buffer of time before Kaido goes down. Luffy getting killed on the roof, then almost drowning, then coming back to beat Kaido is just garbage writing so I...
Yeah I think he's done for now. Luffy will still defeat Kaido one on one, but it won't happen on the roof. I can see the alliance retreating for now and coming back to save Wano later after Onigashima crashes into the capital. At least I hope that's what happens.
That was a great chapter. Awesome fight choreography. Loved the Boro Breath part. I think Luffy is down for good now and Oda will go with the raid "failing" option. We need some high stakes and for the heroes to lose every once in a while. They can come back when Zoro is healed and after the...
THIS. If it's getting too much then stop introducing so many side characters that no one gives a shit about. We barely know who the Straw Hats are anymore because he'd rather dedicate unreal amounts of panel time to Scabbards and fodder. He needs to focus and stop giving himself all of this...
