Sure, I didn't say there wasn't a way to deal with them. Just that without (presumably) advanced conqueror's, you can't "defeat" them to undo DR IF they have regen. Which means they may be rendered harmless by trapping, but still remain in DR state and be a potential cause for danger in the future.
