I think I see what you're talking about... Oda has stated that sometimes his characters are hard to control, and recently even thinks he might have made Luffy *too* strong. So strong that the only effective roadblocks are Blackbeard/Akainu/Imu without Oda struggling to explain why Luffy hasn't...

Tbh I took Crackers defeat as a summarized telling of events, I wish the crackers had ice on them to show they were weakened though. Pacing felt like massive teasing and blue balls. I wanted faster mix ups from Law rather than some big fruit clash, like the old school room warps and some stray...
