But he's a CoO specialist so he can't focus on his CoA. The only realistic CoA upgrade I can think of for him is the ability to project his haki, the "deflective" form of CoA, but even that isn't guaranteed. Internal destruction is off the table. That would be already great if he could use...

He wouldn't need to be taught French, Japanese/English/French and other real languages aren't a thing in OP world. Characters use them but canonically they're not languages, just words they use.
