Fate and Destiny and all that jazz was always one of the core themes of One Piece.
I guess what's throwing people off is they though Oda would approach these themes in a romantic/symbolic way or something while so far he's doing it in a very generic way
But the destiny /reincarnation stuff...
Roger was cool this chapter. The trolling is funny but he's not looking bad nor is he ruined
Also he suggested the plan to beat Rocks and did more than Garp if only slightly

I would say OP unlike many other popular shounens have elements of what makes a good literary work. While its obvious other shounens rely mostly on anime tropes to achieve their popularity and success.
Doflamingo is like a pirate version of CDs. They are consistently the most evil characters in the story. And Oda is treating them like that deliberately. The others are more or less normal pirates according to OP standards.
One of them is Loki's fruit obviously. So we will see it.
The other should be Kaido's fruit. Since they attacked God valley for the fruits. And I doubt it's Kuma fruits.
His agressive attitude is cool. Nice contrast to Luffy's
He will have his time to shine, will have a backstory too. So we'll see how it's handled
There's no way Law and Bonney got all that screen time and Kid won't. And bashing him now is pointless. Like yeah all he did most of the time is...
Both BM and Kaido are alive and will play a major role in the future.
It's not like this arc is not filled with hints and clues that ties them to basically everything lol
But the idea imo always goes back Rocks pirates as group being the main villains. Didn't happen in Wano but it's happening...
Imu obviously a beast and very strong. Still don't think she is the final villain. The final villain has yet to appear and will most likely be related to her

I doubt Buggy and Captain John treasure plot is over. He will settle for it eventually
Shanks not aiming for PK make sense. Should be something related to Rocks. The timing of him changing his mind is interesting. At that age someone probably convinced him to it
