Is it straightforward? Yes, but it's still a resolution to his plot on Wano, if it gets addressed again it will be in a later arc. It just feels so redundant to have so much focus on Sanji going through this turmoil with Queen just to have it happen again except with a little more spice this...
How does that involve Queen though? And why does the raid need to fail for that to happen? And I would say it did get resolved after it was revealed that Queen was the one to hit the woman and not Sanji. Look at how Oda ties in the main theme of Sanji's flashback with the end of this fight...
Probably what happens to the other characters who get beat, is they get taken out of the main relevant story. Maybe she does do something later after Wano like other villains before her, but she's not going to be fighting anymore this arc after this.
The start of his arc? How do these pages during 1031 not represent the end of his problems that started with WCI? How is a rematch with Queen supposed to improve what already happened here? I'm not saying this is the end of the Straw Hats arcs period, but for the most part, the fights/moments...
It worked with Luffy because he lost the fight with Kaido and as a result grew stronger from the experience. The rematch is the fruits of his labor in Udon + Onigashima. Why it doesn't work with the Tobi Roppo/All Stars is that they already won these fights and already received the fruits of...
Seems like it, she's using combo homie attacks that we've rarely seen and made a big combo homie that we've never seen before for her character period. Look at the way she protected herself from Kid's bull attack with the building. That kind of desperate defense is not someone who is playing...
When you mentioned power-ups that allow the Strawhats to win their fights later what matchups are you talking about? Cause if you're referring to the fights they've had before (Zoro vs King, Sanji vs Queen, etc.) Then I'm not sure what the rematches are going to add to the story. It's just going...
Raid succeeding for sure, the time for the raid to fail was before literally almost every big player on Onigashima was down. The Tobiroppo, the All-Stars, even Big Mom is down now. To have the raid fail and start over at this point would make everything up to this point such a gigantic waste of...
Easily one of my favorite emotes on this website. :milaugh:
It's honestly so perfect for so many situations, the smug aura emitting from it just speaks to me. :myman:
This is why I primarily power scale based on the Pirate Warriors 4 game, that way I'm never disappointed! :steef:
Like, who would've thought that Kid could go from having to 1v3 Jack with Luffy and Katakuri to 1v2ing Big Mom with Law!

Every chapter is a hype chapter because of...
Boy, do I hope Usopp gets a cool moment in this arc. As one of my favorite characters, it's been a real shame how he hasn't really had a big moment like other characters have had this arc. Give me another tower of justice moment please Oda.
:neesama:
Funnily enough, my personal theory is that...
What is left for her to do after standing up again? Is she going to use another new move and declare how she's a Yonko again? Beat Kid and Law and make the whole fight pointless? Have Kid do a boring CoC attack instead of using a trump card move unique to him?
I just don't see the value of her...
Personally, I find that boring compared to using ultimate attacks that are unique to them. I do think that if Oda does have Big Mom do one last big thing before putting her down for good is to bring the Onigashima skull to life as we saw in OP 24.
Not sure what that would actually accomplish...
I'm bringing this back, but I also wanted to provide the scenes from that movie I mentioned and why it's a good example of what I'm talking about with this fight. Quick context is that this film is about a custody battle between a mother and father over their son. POV is the single Dad getting...
Ah, so that's what some people were talking about.
:sanmoji:
On that I'm going to bring back a comment I made earlier but got lost with the amount of comments from the Raw.
