Current Events “The Admirals are Celestial Dragon Dogs!”-Say Fans of Garp and Roger

Id argue that Sword is more about being truly good marines though and that those good marines would never fully ally under Celestials. Garp would have valued physical training above all and could have easily hid away at least some parts of the truth about Celestials from Koby so he wouldn't turn into another Aokiji, that or he keeps sending Koby on missions back to back that keep his mind and body busy.
There is some evidence that Sword is going to end up revolting due to Celestials and the WG at large, depending how the BB and Garp situation goes we will see.
I think you would then be arguing a very improbable theory that'd be going against what's currently in the manga about SWORD.

Bro are you truly trying to assert that a Marine HQ Captain does not know of the atrocities the Celestial Dragons commit, when fodders around the world fear them and know the type of BS they commit? That would make Koby the dumbest Marine officer. There is no way you can be next to Mariejois for two years, under top tiers, escorting royalty at reverie, advancing in Marine Ranks... and you have 0 idea about what the CD do... While also being aware of Monkey D. Dragon and the shit that he's been doing. It's just not possible.

You aren't getting the point about Law and the Samurai. Kuma won't defeat Saturn. Kuma may fight Saturn in some capacity. But it will be Luffy who defeats him. That's what the main character does.
Sure

but Saturn isn’t being defeated , we’ve already seen him saying some shit like “Not again” hence why I’ve brought Kuma in play, he must’ve escaped after confronting Saturn yet again with the crew.

See how your argument falls apart? We’ve already seen that Saturn isn’t going to be kissing the floor, but you got these dogshit ass takes just cause you’re hating an admiral

stupid as fuck

No no no. He's absolutely losing here. Beating Saturn is absolutely important and vital to Bonney's character.

We literally had Bonney be a major character of the arc. We knew she was out for revenge since the end of marineford.

The person she wants revenge on is right in front of her.

She dances to Nika's heartbeat.

It's pretty obvious when you add all these points together...he gets up and beats Saturns ass.

You guys are arguing otherwise because it makes Kizaru look weaker than you hyped him up as.

:whitepress:

We literally have confirmation and evidence that Saturn isn’t getting bodied

Tbf Luffy can't move because of the G5 weaknesses, not because of anything Kizaru did.
If we’re in a boxing match and I faint due to tiring myself out, who wins?

Sengoku/Fujitora/Kuzan all fit that mold as well of the chill/goofy strong guy. In particular Fujitora, the difference just being he has a political goal that he's aiming after
I think all 3 of the above are very distinct from Garp and a lot more complex (at least so far)

Fujitora as you said has a very clear agenda without wavering. He aimed to change the system from the inside by joining at close to the top and so far has been very successful. Most op characters have their quirks. Yes, he’s got his own, he can be chill and goofy, but he’s incredibly calculated and deliberate, perhaps the most of any character so far.

Kuzan is the poster boy for heavily conflicted marine. He questioned his entire course in life following Ohara, which led to him adopting “lazy justice.” When faced with having to do something unsavory, he’d put on his lazy facade to either get out of doing it or to cope with it. He’s been questioning the “shape” of justice throughout the majority of his career. Him leaving the marines isn’t a big surprise.

Sengoku also made his attitude known during Ohara. Don’t question orders. Be quiet and follow them. Presumably he believes they all map to a greater good. A mark of a good military leader, to be honest. Unfortunately the government he worked for is rotten to the core.

And then there’s Garp. A goofy, careless exterior, but likely knows more about the darkness of the WG than even the admirals and chooses to follow them come rain or shine. We saw him laughing off the slave trade in saobady, god valley looks even worse. It’s really hard to defend him and view even his goofiness as anything but hypocritical.I’m sure Oda will come up with something. I’m skeptical it’ll be satisfactory.

Both in their primes is an extreme diff either way and I’d probably favor Kuzan. His physical strength is close to equal and he has a busted devil fruit (which he didn’t even use in their “fight”)

:kayneshrug:
Prime Garp may legit be capable of 1v2ing Mr. Fire and Ice.

Kizaru can’t stand up.

Luffy is both unconscious and can’t even move (needed franky to intervene else Saturn would’ve crushed his skull)

at worst, it’s a stalemate

the fight, in reality, would not have been even close to finished if Saturn didn’t intervene.
If it was someone like BB/Shanks/Kaido/Mihawk/WB who isn’t Yonko-level for only 5 minutes and is then auto-KOed, it would be a mid-diff.

I
If you knock me out/stun me to the point that I can't get up in enough time then you won, lol.
And if you faint due to stamina and not from anything I did then I don't see how I would have possibly won or stalemated you lol
I don’t agree, and in the real world, the person standing would’ve won the match. The results are what matter. Same as how it’s clear to me that Akainu beat WB in Marineford. I’d rather be the guy with a bloody lip than the guy who lost half his head, regardless of who some would call the victor.

Our viewpoints are too far apart to be worth engaging further.

I think that's where our disconnect is.

Folks think what happened at the slave auction/ God Valley is some insane tragedy we ain't ever seen the likes of. However, that's weird to me, knowing that right now (in-verse time) thousands of people are Mariejois enslaved and hundreds of them just enslaved to work a ramp. IMO, Mariejois existence right now in general is FAR bigger tragedy than anything related to God Valley/Ohara/etc. Something Sakazuki, Kuzan, Borsalino, Smoker, Hina, Koby, etc etc should all know.

When Fujitora is drinking his cup of tea with GreenBull there is absolutely 0 way with his Observation Haki that he doesn't know about the continuous torture the slaves are being put through at CD's personal houses (IE, Boa Hancock was fed a fruit that turned people into stone for pure entertainment). But he's still there laughing and enjoying his food with Greenbull. Same applies to all the top marines with solid CoO who have gone to Mariejois.

Hell there's a whole country made up of hundreds of thousands to millions of Celestial Dragon slaves in the East Blue, Tequila Wolf, probably just 1 of the dozens since it's meant to be a global bridge or something. Them slaves don't appear outta thin air, Marines should know them CD mfs literally pick up random wives, brothers, etc off the street to be slaves when they feel like it.

So why can all the Marines knowing all the shit that Garp knows about the CD can just enjoy their life, but Garp can't enjoy his? Like the alternative is Garp being a non-Marine or having thoughts of turning against the CD like Fujitora will. However, Fujitora joins up the Marines at the age of 50 while not having been raised or conditioned or bled for the Marines AFTER there is an alternative to the Marines the Revolutionary Army. So he doesn't even have the loyalty conflict that Garp has even if he wants to leave.

- him laughing at Sabody was due to the idea of Ray getting captured not the slave auction itself, iirc.

- At God Valley, why is everybody ignoring the Fleet Admiral of the Marines practically begging Garp to go assist the Celestial Dragons. I'm so confused, he didn't volunteer to go, the Fleet Admiral himself damn near begged him to go because Roger was at play now and they didn't expect that. On top of that we have 0 idea about what Garp actually did at the location, yet everybody is willingly labeling him as a CD lover and protector. Nobody is calling Kong a CD bootlicker, but nope it's Garp. The Brotha just tryna stay loyal to his homies (Marines) and help his brotha (Kong) out while potentially getting to talk with/fight against Roger.

Weirder thing is this is happening after another Fleet Admiral of the Marines tells us that the CD damn near have that mf on their hitlist:

Ty for the reply bruhz!

Bloody lip? Dude was literally coughing blood puddles each time he got hit, lmao.
He beat weakened Oldbeard high diff, that's nothing to brag about.

LMAO.

Another marine fan desperately hoping Akainu will rebel against the WG.

Here's a hint. Akainu sent an entire army after vegapunk because he was researching the secrets the gorosei didn't want the world to know about.

He's not rebelling. Akainu is a government dog to the bone.
The fact that you can't even engage in a light hearted discussion about the PLOT without calling someone a desperate marine fan, is very concerning.

Yes, because Navy and WG are the same organization. The moment Akainu fights back against Gorosei orders, they will split, there is no middle ground here.

It's desperation because after years of arguing Akainu would be Luffys final foe. Imu and the gorosei destroyed that agenda. And now you guys are trying to push a new narrative so Akainu doesn't look like a henchman eos.

Akainu won't rebel. We are literally introduced to Akainu when he blows up a ship full of civilians to maybe get one scholar.

And no. It wasn't about the ancient weapons. The gorosei started firing ONLY when Clover was about to say the name of the ancient kingdom.

Bro thinks he's slick

You don't know shit about me, but are generalizing because... reasons, I guess?

It's even worse, because this has literally nothing to do with power scaling. Akainu is gonna fall before Imu either way, but you are so stuck in this agenda discussions that you think everything boils down to it.

Yes, because Akainu believed that was right. He has some disagreements with the way Gorosei handle things, but overall, their interests mostly align. But that is because he isn't aware that it is all a sham and a single person rules the world from the shadows.

Bro who made an alt and cried about me being toxic in his very first post is arguing he isn't pushing an agenda lmao.

Whose alt do you think I am?

There was no crying, I just explained how several of you (and in that particular thread, you especially) have shat on marines/Admirals and pushed Yonko agenda despite chapter having nothing to do with that, which was in relation to the post that asked which fandom is worse in that regard.

Once again, whether Navy stays with WG or not has nothing to do with power scaling. You are the only here making it about that

Like I said. Your very first post here was to whine about yonko fanboy toxicity while ignoring the toxic admiral fans. It doesn't really matter if you are an alt or a "lurker" who just made an account.

It's pretty clear you are here to push an agenda.

And it's BS lol.
