Do not underestimate Shiryu, he is Zoro's 2nd biggest fight in the show.
He simply didnt show off anything yet. Just like King didnt either until he faced Zoro.
He wasnt manhandled... He was the deciding factor that brought Garp down.
Without Shiryu's involvement, nobody can weaken Garp.
Garp got a retirement feat of slamming Shiryu to which Shiryu responded with a laugh...
By admitting that Shiryu is Zoro's 2nd biggest fight you admit that Zoro vs Kizaru is below the level of Zoro vs Shiryu.
We get the glory but you dont.
Beating an Elder brings more glory than beating an Admiral.
And Luffy is all about glory(Fame).
And you still didnt get that Zoro was top tier since return from TS...
Unless you can show me High tiers who are capable of doing what Zoro did on rooftop?
Actually, can you show me top tiers who are capable of facing a combo attack of two top tiers?
Or can you show me top tiers who can leave a scar on Kaido without using aCoC?
I can show you among Kaido's top 5 that neither of them is capable of that.
As you can see, Zoro is only buffing firepower, everything else stays the same because it is already above top tier level.

Shiryu is without doubt zoros second most awaited fight with the most buildup reguardless of what most poeple thinks, and as such wont be an easy fight for the greatmaster. Furthermore Shiryu is a master swordsman before zoro who only got there recently in wano, his swordmanship was enlightned even if a bit by him bypassin iron garp haki, this is a feat none of zoros futur opponent will get, even kizaru never got the opportunity to damage a fresh old legend, only mihawk hype/feat of dueling shanks and being stated counless time stronger surpass that. The facts most Zoro cant see that amaze me honestly.
man, u can just believe what u want, because we're arguing about something that can't be measured accurately, but the way I see it, is that Oda made them fight Kaido to make Kaido's defeat more believable, so he had to make this scenario, because Luffy wouldn't be able to defeat Kaido all by himself, so saying that Luffy did 90% is just an overexaggeration.
Clash? 100000% it'll happen. If no more than that then the clash will probably happen in the next few chapters now that Luffy and Zoro are separated, we all know Zoro will get lost and just happen to be next to Kizaru lol
Fight? Much less likely than above but very probable based on recent chapters. With Saturn most likely being a fighter with Zoan/DF + tech? As well as no Dragon in Egghead who was speculated to fight one of Kizaru/Saturn. Saturn having the higher authority + possibly the stronger of the two with Kizaru being the #2? If it plays out like that then based on seeing something similar happen throughout OP I'd have to vote YES

I can see either Luffy or Zoro fighting Kizaru as there's a case for both.
Kizaru will likely be the first Admiral to be defeated by the Straw Hats and a momentous event like that is usually reserved for Luffy. And if Saturn doesn't fight that makes Kizaru the strongest enemy and we know those always go to Luffy.
But Kizaru is almost always seen clashing/having a moment with #2s and Saturn is there and if he fights he'll be Luffy's opponent since the Gorosei are being presented as a bigger deal, leaving Kizaru to Zoro and continuing the trend of Kizaru fighting #2s.
I'm perfectly fine with either outcome. Admiral fans, though, it might be tough for them.
