Yeah Elbaf is shaping to be a Zou sized arc

So this might mean that the man marked by flames will be thing for the next arc. If it’s Gaban he might be leaving Elbaf soon and on his way sink the WG ships

it can't get better than this:

we were told at the beginning that loki being freed would be "the end of everything". i would call it the beginning of the end of the elbaf arc.

"Elbaf has just begun"
"The real villain hasn't arrived yet"
"Oda build up Elbaf from the beginning"
"Elbaf is going to be huuuge"
lol
Bro, how many times had we the same shit with Wano? How many times was it said ''this is the climax''?
20,30 or something chapters.

I really hope Elbaph will only be about 40-60 chapters long. The fact that people are saying it will surpass Dressrosa in length is ridiculous. Where does this sentiment come from? We don't need 100+ chapter arcs to tell a meaningful or impactful story. Marineford is only 30 chapters long, yet it's a lot of people's favorite arc. To me, it shows that previous arcs, such as Egghead or Wano, have completely warped people's perception on how many chapters a One Piece arc should have. Thankfully the pacing for Elbaph has been perfect so far.

HOWEVER: If the arc actually ends up being 70+ chapters long, I will kneel and apologize to everyone. :kata:

I’m obviously with you on not needing excessive amounts of chapters to tell a good story, but I can’t blame anyone for thinking this way when most arcs have ran for 50+ chapters Post-Timeskip. Zou and Reverie are the exceptions, but even something like Punk Hazard that should’ve been a quick 25-30 chapters feels like it has an extra 15 tacked on.

I think it depends on if the Holy Knights are thwarted and if they retreat and summon reinforcements...or if they are defeated and detained.

If the former happens, the arc is longer. If not, well...then not.

Loki should take about 10-15 chapters to defeat, as well.

Elbaf is one of the biggest islands the SH have ever visited. We haven't even really explored much of it
