Tbh Sanji is more of an MVP in Thriller Bark than Zoro, given the amount of things he did and went through in the arc, and still fought Kuma and was ready to make a sacrifice.
Zoro's moment is much more a character moment than an MVP moment, not to mention that Sanji saved Zoro from getting hit by Kuma's laser, so his presence was meaningful since the start

I don't see a case for Law because there wasn't any real challenges like in TB and Alabasta.
If we're going off how many Strawhats were saved then it would probably be Sanji
If we're going off how impactful the moment was then it would probably be Zoro (let's be real Nothing Happened is still one of the best moments in the series)
If we're going off how many people were saved in general then probably Usopp (lots of people in Dressrosa would've died without Luffy and Law)
Brook allowed Luffy to take another step towards becoming the Pirate King but Luffy could've come back for it eventually anyway
As others have said it, Kuma wasn't plan on killing the Strawhats.
But since Zoro's sacrifice is epic in itself, just gotta respect it at least.
Mr. Prince Sanji is the best or second best Sanji moment in the series. But I think his Enies Lobby save is better for this thread where he open the Gate of Justice and saves the whole crew there.
As for others, Law's moment was really cool as well. Brook was also good.
Usopp moment is nice and all but no way Sugar can turn Luffy and Law into toys when their Haki is way better than her (does Sugar even have Haki lol?)
So in summary,
EL Sanji > TB Zoro >~ Alabasta Sanji > Law > Brook > Usopp.
Not sure if I'm voting for the right reasons since I'm seeing many voting for Zoro and I understand why.
I have to vote for Sanji. Without him at Alabasta would be game over for One Piece manga.
Without Zoro at Thriller Bark Luffy would be sent to Impel Down so Strawhats could still save him.
Law doesn't make a damn difference.
Brook just got Poneglyph. Luffy would just need to go back there after Wano and he would took it effortlesly.
We are not 100% sure that Luffy couldn't avoid Sugar but even if he became a toy Fujitora would eventually beat Doflamingo and Sugar too and save everybody.
I love how some Sanji fanboys constantly insert him into Zoro’s “nothing happened” moment. Now they are suddenly saying the moment isn’t that important.
I agree with Warchief that Sanji’s best moment is when he opens the Gates of Justice. That should have been Sanji’s option instead.
Usopp saved luffy from being erased, but with an admiral and Sabo on the island I feel Doffy would’ve been taken down inevitably. (Which would bring luffy back to life)
Issho was leaving it in the hands of Luffy and his buddies, but I feel him and/or Sabo would have stepped in and taken down Doffy if it really came down to that.
Let's be honest that Sogeking >>>>>> Dr Ussop.
- shot WG Flag
- shot the keys from miles away to save Robin
- Taunting Lucci so that Luffy got back on his feet.
VS
- being lucky bcs he has an ugly face
- let Robin became a toy just bcs he is a coward
