Unlike luffy that trained hard on yonkou top commanders and warlords , udon seastone ryo training to be able to fight kaido, zoro just got enma so he can move from pica and kamazo to kaidou. same way sanji got raid suit so he can become way stronger so he can fight yc1 king

enma=raid suit= HUGE power up
You can't compare meito to rs, swords needs a skill not to mention meito who they said "Not for the weak", as for rs it's just lazy powerup without requiring anything if everyone compatible with it then the said everyone got powerup even if not fighter... Sanji is legit fodder eh with the need of rs to keep up lol

RS is a power up. It instantly increased Sanji's speed, maneuverability, durability and more. It allows him to turn invisible and increases his flying capability.

Enma is not a power up. Now, will Zoro grow stronger from using enma? Of course you will. Enma is an untamed sword that is hard to control. Learning to control it allows him to grow stronger. Understand, you can't turn a black blade into a black blade but you can turn a normal blade into a black blade.

The best way to understand the difference between RS and Enma is to take them away from Zoro and Sanji. Sanji, if given a normal suit, would a lose a lot of power, strength and ability. While Zoro, if given a normal sword, wouldn't lose any strength or power.

Zoro has to trade in his strongest sword, Shusui, for Enma. They're also both the same grade while Shusui is also a black blade. You'd have more of an argument if he traded in Sandai Kitetsu, and instead currently had Wado, Shusui and Enma.

Zoro's arm is drained when first using the sword. Then he tames it and has to train with it in order to get stronger. I like this comparison others have used so I'll mention it too. If you went to the gym, and built up muscle, would you credit the results to the weights or your own hard work?

Enma is simply a tool that serves as a means for Zoro to power up through hard work and training. It's not a free power up and any increase in power Zoro gets would be a result of his actual training with the sword, not the sword itself.

The only other argument I've seen is that Enma is a Great Grade blade in base while Shusui is a Great Grade blade after being blackened. Yes, Enma as a sword holds more potential than Shusui, but even Hitetsu says this is dependent on Zoro
So when it happens, he will have earned it through his own merit.
Every powerup minus Lanji´s suit is earned by own merit.

You are changing the term power up to only suit what Sanji received in this arc.
Both are power-ups, difference is one is earned (Enma) through his own already existing skills (if that was not relevant, anybody else would have already used Enma, they can´t, at least in Wa No), one is unearned that is an instant stat booster only accessible to him because of his family and blood.

Emna is definely a powerup, mastering it makes you stronger since you need to improve your Haki controll in order to do soo. Soo even if Zoro loses Emna he is stronger than he was before mastering it.

Ok but you can't enroll the argument that Enma > Shusui since it's the other way around by current knowledge. So I'm glad you are at least omitting from doing so. This explains how Enma is nothing but like a Red Bull for an athlete, and once it's gone, it's gone. :)

Yeah, if the question itself if "is emna by itself a powerup" thats debatable, since there are theories that Zoro takes strenght from the curse of the blades, and Emna curse is definely a strong one. Plus, soo what if the sword is a powerup, you need to be strong in order to use it and you need to train to master it...Its not a cheap upgrate like getting a power ranger suit from your daddy, who you hate.

I dont think Zoro can bring out the same ammount of damage with ANY blade though, if you give him some unnamed shit tier swords, obviously he wont do as well as he would do with a graded blade.
