A "Mental Nerf" Is No Excuse for Kizaru Failing to Deal Significant Damage

Even if Kizaru is the one who gave Luffy food, it doesn't change the fact that he did a 1/5 star performance against Luffy.

He only did the following:

1. Kicked Luffy through a robot
2. Scratched Luffy's cheek with his light sword
3. Accidentally hit Luffy with a laser he intended for Vegapunk

Even with a "mental nerf" he should have been able to do more than that.

He never tried to hurt Luffy.
He successfully BFR G4, clones were only postponing G5 and the beam was merely intended to pierce Vegapunk, not hurt a top tier (and it still did damage)

He also had to avoid any damage to the the Punk Record, York or Mother Flame and ideally, any technology there.
This is probably why he didn't create any explosions as soon as he entered Labophase, while he was spamming explosions at Sabaody (where he was STILL holding back), Marineford (where he had to avoid damaging Navy units beyond reasonable measure) and even Fabiophase against fodder Sentomaru.

Attacking him for not doing something he wasn't supposed to is weird

Pre-TS Kizaru: went toe toe using the sword with Ray himself, one that made Teach almost shit himself;

Kizaru vs Luffy: the sword was used once buy the clones lol.

95% of the fight Is him using random lasers.

Not to mention, he fucking saved him, he didn't want to hurt him.

These discussions are so mind numbing tbh. Neither Luffy or Kizaru went all out. Luffy used Gear 5, but Oda used ACoC like 3 times the entire arc.

When the world realizes Luffy took out Kaido, he will get the 5 billion berry bounty he deserves, and he'll do it as a pirate, which only WB/Roger have done.

And his will(haki) was at it lowest during the fight
