Why would you think its oni blood awakening when we know zoan awakenings are an actual thing. His awakening makes him more beast like which that form does

Choppers different points are scientifically forced transformation. You can't really compare chopper to 99% of zoans

Oda just wrote himself into a corner. Kaido having an awakening on top of everything and being in better shape than Luffy before the finale meant that he couldn’t have Luffy win in any reasonable way.
It’s a consequence of how bloated the fight became.

That's not Awakening, it's Kaido's Oni side manifesting, that's why if he did transform into Awakening his Oni traits would be consumed by the Dragon inside of him..

His transformation is all about him getting more beast like

• Physically bulks up
• Curly eyebrows
• Double ringed eyes
• Teeth change
• Nose change

An oni transformation doesn't go off anything we know about. Arlong only got more angry with no physical change and sulong is super to make you bigger and more beast like

Oni race is the definition of being beast like even more demonish beast.. lt makes sense why he would look that way when an Oni go rage mode..

That doesn't make sense as Kaido has the whole beast theme, so his senses becoming more dragon like would make sense, but also Dragons are legendary creatures, simply make his zoan smarter then, depending on trope they aren't portrayed as brainless animals at all, so we have the complete Wisdom King.

Then he would be completely consumed by his Dragon powers and lose his own self..

It’s simple, Kaidos not strong mentally. Awakening occurs when ones body and mind can fully handle the devil fruit power.

For example, Choppers body is too weak so his rumble awakening breaks him. The jailer beasts minds were too weak so their forced awakening causes them to lose themselves.

If kaido forced an awakening he’d go bersedo.

That’s pretty much what i said aside from being not strong mentally.. lt would be an inherent race weakness..
Same as how Pekoms can’t control his Sulong form due to his devil fruit..

Inb4 Oda confirms he did in an SBS and its just his ability to seemlessly transform between forms, including the buff dragon one. Kaido's definition of awakening implies it has to do with DF mastery than "just" a transformation. Technically Luffy unlocking it once means he's awakened his power and has now technically mastered his fruit in the end, so he might be able to jump to G5 seemlessly or use G5 attacks without directly transforming in the future, especially moves that affect the environment

I.e. he might be able to make the ground rubber in his current form.

Both for Zoans awakening a DF mastery and a body transformation.. The magma dragon was not a transformation he covered himself with it.. Kaido was still inside of it looking identical to his Zoan form..

it doesnt matter if it would make him go berserk or not, it still should be a better option than dying..., we assume that any antagonist would take any and all measures possible to prevent them from losing. He just doesnt have awakening and oda doesnt care it is what it is

I don't get people who claim that awakening was used by him in the fight.When Luffy/Kata/Doffy awakened it became so blatantly obvious so why would the case be different for Kaido's awakening where you'd just have to assume that a strong ability is his awakening?

He is not awakened, and if anything he did in the fight is considered awakening it's extremely underwhelming for the WSC.
