this topic is due to Infos and Events (Admiral Used As hypetool in Flashback(Not Even Name lol),World goverment with more importance in Last Arcs,kizaru having to Share Role of arc villian with lucci ,Saturn etc,akainu only appearing from time to time,sengoku(kinda belongs there too) wasnt Even at god Valley,Blackbeards background revealed..)
What Are your thoughts?can someone still be optimistic about this guys?

I’m not sure I understand the question but optimistic as ever lmfao. People acting like Rox assassinating an Admiral with hostages was the end of the agenda, all this moment proved to me was that Admirals aren’t immortal demigods, which we knew already lol.

Until Oda starts introducing Pirates who can achieve the black blade or punch like Garp as a side quest, who have overpowered Logia fruits and side questing supreme blades and shit…the Admiral agenda is stronger than ever. Oda legit made Kizaru look far better against Luffy than I ever imagined, I never thought he would make a distracted emotionally nerfed Kizaru still be too much for Goofy but that’s what Oda did lol.

Anyway I can only speak for myself but the Admirals are the only reason to read this shit series for me, and Oda has yet to ruin them.

Anyway as for Kizaru, not Oda legit gave him one of the best character arcs in the whole manga. He took the one Admiral who never gave a shit about anything and ordered him to kill his friends. Unironically goated behavior from an otherwise completely horrible writer.

Having hostages or not is irrelvant. Outside of MJ, Fujitora was toying with Sabo while sandbagging. In MJ, Fuji couldn't stop Karasu or drop his signature meteor. Outside of MJ, GB can easily restrain 5 Scabbards, Momo, and Yamato. In MJ, GB can't stop or restrain Morley, even complained that he couldn't fight back. It was wven stated twice on panel that fighting in MJ is a huge nerf for an admiral.

I think its completely normal for people to give a shit about people they care about, and care less about strangers? Even Mingo hesitated when Jora was taken hostage, and he can easily kill off entire towns.
