Admirals are the only undefeated powerhouses left in the story, of course you might want to sneak in Gorosei or Holy Knights but characters that have never even fought or not appeared yet shouldn't count.

Oda will 100% make the moment an Admiral finally loses a fight something special hence why Kizaru taking Luffy to extreme diff in Egghead before being ultimately defeated is quite likely :cheers:

Akainu was defeated by Whitebeard, he two shot him and Akainu fell in a hole, ending their battle.

And depending on how you interpret "defeat", Sabo and a few good men completing all of their objectives and suffering no problems against two Admirals could also be interpreted as them being "defeated".

It's actually hard to even visualize tbh. The only one I can visualize losing is Aramaki cause he's bit of a clown. Has an Admiral ever lost even once in history aside from Kuzan?

Pirates lose all the time, so both in verse and outside we are desensitized to it. Kuzan and Akainu's battle was a bigger event than 2 Yonkou being taken out, Sabo's reverie victory was also a bigger deal as well.

Big Mom was pushed off the island with two nukes. Kaido went through a gauntlet and beat Luffy multiple times, had him go through all power ups and awaken into Joyboy, with Kaido being barely edged out in a direct clash with the Bajrang Gun he refused to dodge, all while flying around an island for hours.

As such, it is obviously dishonest to compare that to admirals, who haven't had fights against top tiers at their prime outside their own rank.

We know however, that Aramaki admitted inferiority against Kaido. We know that Shanks' wifi Haki folded him. We know Oda put Kaido above Akainu, we know Kizaru couldn't get past an old, rusty Rayleigh and was so butthurt about that fact he vent his rage on 500 fodders. And we know that Yonko have a much easier time folding Yonko top commanders. Aramaki and Issho were going toe to toe with Rev commanders because they couldn't go "all out", when we see Kaido clapping a YC1 commander with one blow, in base, without CoC infusion.
