Character Discussion Akainu’s Tattoo & Flower Symbolism - Akainu’s Philosophy on Justice Explored

Akainu is similar to Obito and Aizen when it comes to ideology of how the perfect world should be. That's what makes Akainu such an interesting villain.
Absolutely not. Putting aside Obito who wanted to fuck minors, Akainu is the exact antithesis of Aizen. Aizen follows the concept of the Uberman from Nietzsche, and in true Nietzschean fashion, he cannot hide how petty he is in Bleach.
He says that he planned for Ichigo’s birth, later on we see it’s just a coincidence that was beyond his calculations, planned for Orihime’s kidnapping so that the Gotei would weaken, and yet Yamamoto send a healer and someone that could create portals to escape Hueco Mundo, not to mention Yamamoto ordering Urahara himself, the person who easily created the portal Ichigo is using, this ended up backfiring on him, as the captains manage to sneak in and destroy some of his top force, and leave without problems later on, again in Karakura, he arrived on the fake one, and Barragan just calls him out that destroying the pillars is much more convenient, but still wants to avoid that, because he’s petty that the Gotei predicted the instant he’d arrive in Karakura, he says that his strength is far superior that the Espadas combined, yet had to wait for the Gotei to be weakened so they could be easy pickings, and he still lost so much stamina that Isshin, a young captain level could beat him, does a big speech about killing Yamamoto, got surprised Yama could still use hadous in that state and never tries again, even after the hougyoku transformation(s), talks a lot about his transcendence headcanon only to get fucked by Gin’s bankai, another young “pure” shinigami captain, and has to beg the hougyoku to survive, then Ichigo, the guy with the lowest track record against hax abilities defeats him, as after the hougyoku transforms him, he becomes even dumber, has a spaz with the more mature Urahara, regains his calm mask during C46, but at this point, he ain’t getting free anyway.
Later on, gets (temporarily) free to get trolled by Yhwach, Mayuri and fucking Nanana, someone who only had one fight on panel, and that was him getting oneshotted on a single panel by Yamamoto, and also be a disruptive ally due to his narcisism and inability to keep the current priorities straight (wanted to shoot down the Royal Palace, and was seriously deluded enough to think the Gotei would let him), by the way, most of the work towards said hougyoku was done by Urahara, not him, his hougyoku was a failure, Aizen valued a distinguished mindset regarding strength and independence pushing individuality at its core, ending up betraying/betrayed by the espadas, alone, defeated by someone with the same level of information he had that however, unlike him valued stability over idealism (Urahara), a so-called last man.
Aizen had a track record of spinning something that has happened to look good, but at the end of the day, he got extremely lucky, and when that luck run out (such as not killing Yamamoto after he was surprised he could still use that hadou 96, or Yhwach schooling him) he either changed objective or got defeated.
Aizen ended up as a failure, both in power (Yhwach and Yamamoto, and yes, I’m putting all his worthless hougyoku forms in here, dude is lucky that the Bleachverse is balanced by reiatsu, killing him would open the gates of hell completely, so it’s better if he stays in Muken) and intelligence (Urahara, Mayuri, scratch that, half the captains).
If you follow the novels, Aizen wanted to say something important to Ichigo, but wasn’t allowed (yeah, the Gotei put him back in muken even without the chair, again, transcendence headcanon), probably how Ichibei wanted to kill him to have a new Soul King, and would probably be horrified that, after this revelation, Ichigo would have still went on with it, as it allowed him to protect those he cares about.
Also, a fun power level fact, at the end of Deicide, “transcended” Aizen was surprised he could destroy mountains, not only was he wrong, as Ichigo did it, in the TYBW arc, we see feats from “pure” shinigamies like Kenpachi and Yamamoto MAGNITUDE of times stronger than that.
Now, take all that I’ve said regarding Aizen, his morality, his insistence on knowing what is good and bad, his disregards from the law, customs, his superiority complex, his rationalizations on how things are going, and put it in several people in One Piece, you get pirates, some are strong, some are weak. Akainu, then, it’s the natural continuation to a world full of “ubermen” who can’t be reasoned with, he just has to crack heads, in order to bring more stability, knows that the CDs are a fraud, but still goes with it, as removing a part of the institution 800+ years old by force would bring chaos, so a loss of stability, which translates to power, and he needs lots of it to fight Yonkous and Revos. This is also why he was against removing the shichibukais, he hates pirates, but thinks about the logistic behind it, and probably why that cocksucker Coby was still a marine, even though he stopped an Admiral from moving, giving time to pirate fodders to kill marine fodders without the protection of an Admiral, unlike Aizen, in battle, the only time he spoke about him being strong was to avoid unnecessary confrontations (for his goal) that would make him weaker, unlike people like Aizen or Kaidou who did it put of vanity/pride, and mocked Whitebeard, not because he thought he said the truth, that’s really inconsequential to the objective at hand but because it had a psychological edge against the WB Pirates (and anybody that thinks Kaidou and BM are EVEN comparable to Whitebeard, being sick or not, is delusional, Oda still wanks him to this day, while those two are already forgotten) Aizen is much much closer to a more vain Luffy than he is with Akainu, characters like Yamamoto, Ichibei, Byakuya, Komamura and Urahara ( though his personality is more Mercurian, he still values the same things as those four) are more similar to him.
Even in the fandom, someone like Aizen better fits the power fantasy idea, while Akainu, the response ro said power fantasy, is a spanner to the treat, so Aizen is forever destined to be very popular, while Akainu not. Of course, it helps that Aizen failed to kill multiple times characters that he wanted to kill (Momo, Yamamoto), while Akainu merc’d a fan favourite

It would align with Sakazuki's inherent and interwoven characterization of being somewhat of a pacifist, a parody on his work and devil fruit. I for one can see this being true. There's also Sakazuki's nihilistic outlook, which is deftly woven into his characterization - his personal philosophy draws heavily from Narodnaya Volya literature, for instance. That and Sakazuki's tattoo, which itself is a cryptic reference to Turgenev's Russian epic Fathers and Sons, would suggest this to be the case.
