Speculations Akainu is Not a Good Guy

#1
Hi Worstgen,

I just want to remind everybody that Akainu is not being portrayed as a good guy.
- Akainu's sense of justice is, "Absolute Justice." It represents the very notion of, "The End Justifies The Means."
- Akainu kills his own men based on his own discretion.
- Luffy's sense of justice is, "Perfect Justice." It represents the notion of, "Always Being Correct". He is NEVER wrong.
- Luffy would never kill his own men. He would only kill their dream and that would probably also be in an effort to get them to become one of his crew again.

In other words... Akainu represents something that our perfect lil protagonist Luffy would never stand for. To really emphasize the point, ABSOLUTE means ABSOLUTE. Akainu is not changing. Luffy cannot change him. That means he has to die because Akainu will never give up his stance on things. If Akainu does not die, then that means he will be insisting on his, "The End Justifies The Means" agenda forever.

I honestly.... HONESTLY... doubt that Luffy is going to let Akainu continue with his, "Absolute Justice" forever. Not happening.

Nobody thinks he's is a good guy.
Okay. I guess I misunderstood others. Specifically, someone when I talked about Akainu killing his men. They tried to argue that killing deserters is normal and nothing is wrong with it. I had to explain that the entire story is about changing harmful beliefs and that Akainu represents one of the worst beliefs in the story.

The problem with, "logic" right is that you can twist it to make it fit whatever you want it to fit.

So... I think these people are twisting the logic to make Akainu seem like he's just being practical how any person should be.

But, I consider that a flawed way of reading the story. Like, they missed the point.

I looked it up and that's only a few select countries.
Also, what about him trying to kill Koby?
Koby was actively trying to hinder the Marine's offensive against the pirates. That's paramount to turning your coat in the middle of battle

Plus it was a commodore (don't remember the rank) going against an admiral and calling him and the rest of the marines idiots. Waaaay overstepping the chain of command

Even in the United States you can get executed for desertion.

If a soldier upholds a military operation and gets in the way of forces they’re effectively operating as an enemy combatant.

So you take them out.
He didn't interrupt anything, he was just making a speech.

The point was to execute Ace, not to kill off every single pirate there, so yes Koby was actually in the right.

The point was to create a public execution to lure in Whitebeard. The moment they arrived it became a war
They do those executions no matter what, though.
They did it with Roger, for example.
It's not just to make a war.
Say an army is attacking another one.

A soldier gets in front of the army while the other is escaping.

That soldier effectively just commited treason lmao
My brother in christ, there were thousands of soldiers, Koby is never going to hold up ALL OF THEM by simply calling them out for their bull shit.

In most modern countries it’s a crime to dessert the army in battle (no fucking shit), and you can get the death penalty for it.

Akainu executing a deserter is no different from officers in real life
It's not quite how it happens in real life, even in the US, nor is it the only reason why Akainu is a villain.
