Reborn

Throughout Heaven & Earth,I alone am d Honored One
Your Honour @Tyki_Mikk, members of the jury, executioner @Fujishiro and fellow weebs of this forum...

The prosecution just delivered an epic mess of a drama. But let us not confuse volume with validity.

This trial was never about justice.

It was about personal vendetta, and grudges dressed as concerns for public welfare.

Let me now peel back the performance and show you the truth beneath the fake cry.

Issues with Witness testimonies

Two of the prosecution witnesses @EkkoLoJinx and @Rej didn't even appear for testimony.

@Mashiro Blue - did appear but his testimony appeared more like a rehearsed version because he simply parroted what prosecution said. No wonder, the judge partially stuck that down.

The Court acknowledges @Reborn’s objection and agrees in part. While Mashiro Blue’s testimony contains strong rhetoric and compelling narrative, it fails to directly address the question of personal, lived harm resulting from AL Sama’s actions.

The testimony reads more as a dramatic extension of the prosecution’s argument rather than an individual witness account. As such, it does not qualify as direct evidence of personal damages.

However, the Court will not strike the statement from the record. Instead, it shall be considered a **statement of opinion with limited evidentiary weight. The jury is instructed to treat it as such colorful, persuasive, but not definitive proof of guilt.

This is WorstGen Court, not a Shakespeare audition.

We welcome drama, but facts reign supreme.
@Peroroncino - himself admitted that he didn't even click on the thumbnail and judge the content based on its cover

If Peroroncino feels "genuine discomfort," that’s subjective and not statute.

@Dr_Professor83 - well, he flipped, perhaps due to his habit of playing too much mafia, because he was demanding money from us which we didn't pay as it's illegal.

Evidence
@AL sama make it worth my while and I’ll stand by “my” testimony
And, when we didn't pay him, he tried to sabotage my client.

Whichever answer sabotages Al is correct
In eyes of law, we judge not on the basis of personal feelings but evidences.

Prosecution whose responsible for proving guilt, failed to provide any concrete testimony or evidence.

Charge: “Horny Ass Clickbait Thumbnails”

Prosecution's Claim:
Thumbnails were predatory, manipulative, and reduced the forum to a place of titillation.

Defense Counter:

Yes, thumbnails were eye-catching. But provocative does not equal predatory.

You may not like the taste, but discomfort is not a crime.

Forum Rules Violation? None cited. Not a single forum rule was violated. If this were truly offensive or rule-breaking, admins would have formally flagged it. They did not.

Subjectivity of Offense: What Rej called “hoe” is a subjective insult, not evidence.

No community poll or formal grievance shows majority discomfort.

Engagement Data: Posts with such thumbnails had higher comment and reaction rates, showing community interest and not disgust.

Data from World Bank

Industry Standard: YouTube, Reddit, and even Crunchyroll use stylized thumbnails. Clickbait is not illegal, it's a marketing strategy unless it's misleading, which this was not.

Community Benefit: The content behind the thumbnails did relate to anime/manga discussion and not just random bait. So the claim of “minimal content” is false.

Evidence - review of anime done by Al sama

Check the content and not just the thumbnail

Charge: Use of AI Voice

Prosecution's Claim:
Using AI voice replaces human interaction and makes the community cold and impersonal.

Defense Counter:

Hypocrisy? Prosecution @hime herself uses AI to write statements but she has issue with my client for using AI voice.

(first of all, apologies for using AI to assist
Innovation, Not Exclusion: AL Sama was the first to experiment with AI narration for efficiency. This added new formats to forum discussion, not replaced them.

Personal concerns - As I mentioned earlier, @AL sama has been prescribed not to talk much.

No Voice Was Taken: No human was prevented from contributing. The AI voice simply offered accessibility for those preferring to listen instead of read.

Double Standards: Other members have used AI-generated content (art, summaries, memes) without complaint. Why the selective outrage?

Member Benefit: Multiple members reacted positively in threads using AI voice; there’s no verifiable community-wide rejection of this method.

@Daniel the jury appreciating @AL sama YouTube content

He even invited him for streaming

@Alexis2282AE anticipating new videos and this is liked by witness @Rej as well.

Charge: Post Deletion & Silencing

Prosecution's Claim:
Posts were strategically deleted to silence critics.

Defense Counter:
Moderation exists to keep order, not to feed egos of the users.

Posts were deleted to avoid escalation, not to erase truth.

Al sama acted according to the rules set by admin @Bogard

https://worstgen.alwaysdata.net/forum/threads/worstgen-forum-rules.24386/

No Logs, No Proof: Despite the claims, no logs/screenshots were submitted to show which specific posts were deleted, when, or by whom.

Maintaining Peace: Deletion occurred only in threads derailing into flame wars, in accordance with forum standards. The posts were not deleted permanently, but archived for moderation review.

Free Speech Wasn’t Curtailed: All users had multiple opportunities to post grievances in feedback or other open threads. No bans, warnings, or jails were issued for dissent in these instances.

Charge: Hypocrisy on Deletion

Prosecution's Claim:
AL Sama criticized Tyki’s deletions but deleted posts himself.

Defense Counter:

Changed Standards = Maturity: What looks like hypocrisy is actually evolution in leadership. AL Sama adapted to rising toxicity levels and took responsibility.

Formal Procedures Initiated: Deletion was not done arbitrarily. Multiple posts were flagged by other users before deletion showing consensus, not dictatorship.

Criticism Was for Lack of Transparency, not for deletion itself. AL Sama later announced deletions publicly, something Tyki had not always done.

Charge: Rigging Trial Verdict @Pot Goblin & @Bepo D. Bear

Prosecution's Claim:
The jury found them “innocently guilty” but AL Sama declared them guilty.

Defense Counter:

Trial Protocols Were Broken: The jury verdict of “innocently guilty” is not a legally valid category in forum judiciary structure. It was a meme verdict. So, @AL sama went according to the rule book.

Clarification Was Sought: AL Sama consulted a rulebook channel post-trial and even asked for clarification from @Reborn and he agreed.

Charge: Coup Against Reborn

Prosecution's Claim:
Reborn was ousted as judge without consultation.

Defense Counter:

And, here I am defending Al sama.

Consultation Took Place: Messages were sent to Reborn to check status. Reborn did not respond promptly, causing trial delays.

No Ban, No Silencing: Reborn was not “jailed” or punished. They were temporarily suspended from duties and invited back afterward. Coup? No. Temporary reassignment? Yes.

Charge: Unlawful Jailing of Flower & Tyki

Prosecution's Claim:
These members were jailed without solid evidence.

Defense Counter:

Temporary Jail: These were symbolic jails, brief, often under 24 hours meant to preserve order.

Both Members Were Released without lasting consequences. No user rights, roles, or content were revoked.

@Flower often faces heat from other mafia players. My client did her favor by temporary banning her from forum activity to cool off.

Satirical Nature Ignored: Most of these jails were conducted during forum events (e.g., Court Week), where drama is part of fun and not actual punishment.

Charge: Betrayal in Hurt & Heal

Prosecution's Claim:
AL Sama betrayed nakama and allies.

Defense Counter:

Hurt & Heal is a Game. Not a binding alliance treaty.

Screenshots? Prosecution claims "verifiable screenshots" yet provided none publicly.

Strategic Play ≠ Betrayal: Multiple users have shifted allegiances in H&H games. Singling out one player is bias.

If betrayal = crime, then 90% of the game participants are guilty. This charge is emotional, not judicial.

Charge: Causing Forum Instability & Collapse

Prosecution's Claim:
Forum crash coincided with AL Sama’s activity.

Defense Counter:
The forum went down during high-traffic moments. Blaming Al Sama for tech issues is like blaming a firefighter for smoke damage. Real reason is server overload.

Data from World Economic Forum

No tech evidence was submitted which indicated that my client @AL sama is responsible.

No Code Access: AL Sama is not part of the tech admin team. He has no server access, so cannot crash it.

Correlation Isn’t Causation: If AL Sama posts during peak time, it shows activity, not conspiracy.

Claim: Prosecution Says “We’re not attacking innovation or moderation, just abuse.”

Defense Counter:

But they attack thumbnails, AI, and game strategies — all of which are innovation.

They claim to protect “community integrity” but by pushing for total censorship and uniform behavior, they are dismantling community diversity.

Charge - Death of the community?

The irony? This trial has brought more activity than most threads this year.

If anything, Al Sama revived the forum through engagement, risk-taking, and creativity.

His tools may be sharp, but he built with them. He didn’t burn anything down.

FINAL DEFENSE ASSERTION:
Ladies and gentlemen, this trial has been less about justice and more about vengeance camouflaged as virtue.

What has the prosecution proven? That AL Sama makes bold decisions. That he challenges norms. That he doesn’t always bow to popularity.

But these are not crimes. These are the marks of a flawed but fearless leader.

To find him guilty is to punish courage.
To acquit him is to protect progress.

The jury must now choose:

Fear or freedom

Echo chamber or evolution

Vengeance or vision

But these are not crimes. These are the marks of a flawed but fearless leader.

To find him guilty is to punish courage.
To acquit him is to protect progress.

The jury must now choose:

Fear or freedom

Echo chamber or evolution

Vengeance or vision

The defense rests.
someone who doesn't even know what a thumbnail is, is not fit for this discussion:willight:

@Reborn hurry up, only for today, hime is right.
If not I close the trial and make the jury judge...
@Mashiro Blue
No one asked you, the witness has to be quiet, @Reborn is right.
I thank @hime and Reborn for their closing statements. We can now enter the final phase of this trial. I now ask the jury to make their decision based on all the statements. After that, I expect the jury to announce their verdict.

Jury:

Jury:
@Mr. Reloaded
@Daniel
@Alexis2282AE
@Sir Yasheen
@ElderOnitar
@matt245
@Yoho
not the judge being biased and letting the defense have 60+ hrs when he was threatening to skip the prosecution's parts for smaller delays smhh
also the judge not allowing for prosecution rebuttal which is standard trial procedure :beckmoji:

bc @Reborn 's closing is honestly a tl;dr, my rebuttal is simple
vote @AL sama guilty bc it would be highkey funny AF :endthis:

We are waiting on @Daniel and deliberation will be complete.
To be honest, I only watched the first couple of pages worth this thread and then tuned out after that.

But I can read the rest.

Al does seem to have a lot on his plate, including looking over that darn politics thread alongside @Uncle Van so I'll give him some slack here and there because I've seen and had to handle far worse.
