I didn't want to read or get involved in any of this silliness but after seeing a couple of posts I feel like maybe I have something to offer.

So firstly hime I think the best approach with Finalbeta is to ignore him. Justifying yourself like this will change nothing as he will just change tack and pivot to something related and create the feeling like you're talking past each other. In terms of the part where you say "I know most judge it anyway", I don't think this is the case. I think when you're made to feel guilty about something you can feel the need to prove yourself otherwise or in this case mention that it exists as if it's common, but it's important to recognise it for what it is - a manipulation tactic designed to get you to engage with him.

I can of course only speak for myself but the way I see it is that no one who should matter to you would judge this sort of thing out of hand, and also that most people tend to be more charitable than you think they are.

I don't believe for a moment that Ekko believes Beta is some reformed character and more to the point, I don't thibk he cares one bit whether he is or not. Indeed, the welfare of people, particularly the women, on here, is of no concern whatsoever to Ekko. I'm addressing this to you and also to @Dr. Watson who I saw got frustrated when responded to Ekko, you are not reasoning with someone who is just a bit naive and sees only the good in people, I.e someone like Fuji. You are responding to someone who sees this as it is and simply doesn't care.

Ekko's motivation is wholly selfish - he hasn't enjoyed the last few games and likes Finalbeta and so wants him back in the games for his own interest. He doesn't care about any human cost associated with that so you are never going to make him understand your perspective. You are only going to get yourself upset and annoyed at going back and forth with him. I say this to you both as, well I wouldn't be as presumptuous as to call us friends but someone who would rather not see you upset on a personal level. The best thing that you can do is ignore Ekko because there is nothing earnest about this in the slightest from his part.

i woke up to see none interested in giving beta a fair chance, not even talk about what they want to see from him during next paraloe.

I don’t think things like “justice” and “no excessive punishment” exist here. Imo it’s more like a social circle / friend group so it’s more based on things like “trust” and “popularity” and “likeability”.
I just woke up so maybe I’m not explaining it well but like, if someone does something that completely ruins your trust in them and you do not like them anymore then u possibly won’t want to be their friend anymore regardless of how long ago the bridge was burned. Basically u can think of forums like a friend group / clique, not like a formal government. So like, yes criminals get returned to the public after serving their sentence, but also the public doesn’t usually welcome them with open arms and their victims don’t always forgive them and say “yeah we can be friends”. Not saying FB is a criminal but I am saying that he did get banned here and that some bridges might just be burned

idk if I explained this well but maybe in this context u should think of it like this: permission to use a forum is equivalent to letting someone back into your friend group and it is not the equivalent of letting someone out of jail because forums are a friend group not a government. And so you saying “FB served his sentence so he should be allowed back in” is the equivalent of you saying “FB served his time so he should be allowed in the friend group again”, but I don’t think serving a sentence is enough for ppl to reasonably say “yeah let’s be friends again and start hanging out again.”

Does this make sense at all? Or am I not saying it right? Basically bc WG isn’t a government I don’t think serving his sentence is sufficient to welcome him back. There are stronger conditions required for reassimalation and FB coming back trolling shows he prob isn’t reformed enough and that this unban here was his probation period and he failed it with flying colors.
That’s all I have to say I think I don’t think we need to argue this further

we're not asking for the victims to forgive or be friends with him. we're asking for him to be allowed to post in mafia game threads just as he is allowed to post in one piece section

game threads are public. anyone can join, friends or not. people who've never played in this site before can join the site and start playing games right away. this isn't a clique. a clique would be a private role PM where you only invite your close friends circle. nobody is asking the victims to invite beta there

i suspect there r underlying personal issues preventing the mods from releasing beta back. they arent stating what improvements they want to see on him for next parole session which means its likely going to be futile too
