It *mathematically* is pro town. My role needs 2 townies and 1 scum dead. The ratio of town to scum is likely to be considerably higher than 2:1. That means the one scum dead is more damaging to the scum faction than the townie deaths are to the town one. Not to mention that the scum I need dead is probably the main scum role, whereas the townies I need dead are not Strawhats.
Given that we are on the third cycle with no scum deaths, my voting power is likely to be considerably useful for the town in terms of them remaining in the game. I have an interest in that, because none of the roles flipped so far have been who I need dead, with the exception /maybe/ of Jules. So that's how my role helps. My noble voting power is a considerable voting swing.
What I ask for in return in that townies help me work towards my win. Scum can easily help me because they can eventually afford to out themselves, lynch Crocodile and then use my voting power to win a cycle earlier. Obviously the other townies I need dead will have to be dead for that but so it goes. Town have a harder time but when we see several scum flips the roles I need dead can sacrifice themselves and with my vote counting for two the loss of voting power will be only one. Which isn't an awful trade off for me coming forward.
