I wonder how easy shiny hunting will be in Z-A…been doing Masuda method and Dynamax Adventures in SwSh lately, makes me pine for the simplicity of mass outbreaks in LA and SV
I've been collecting the past 21+ years when i was a damn toddler, these past 5 months have been the only time (even the pandemic was not this bad) I have been unable to buy a single Pokemon TCG product at MSRP
I've literally had to "settle" for 2x-3x MSRP since scalpers (mostly former sneakerheads and crypto enthusiasts) and their bots (heavily favored towards those that have a CS/programming background) literally buy up every single Pokemon TCG product in stock before actual people can even access links or react
and this is before the TCG reaches Z-A coverage and about a year before Pokemon's 35 Anniversary and Gen 10. I'm not even sure I will even be able to secure a pre-order for a physical copy of Legends Z-A on Pokemon Center...

Unbelievable W for Orbeetle, who (if this is all true) is set to join the Kanto starters as the only Pokémon to have Mega Evolutions AND Gigantamax forms
Bit bit of a random post, but do yall think Gamefreak's work in recent years is genuinely good? Or do you think as I do that they coast by with mediocre product because of how influential and beloved the Pokemon IP is? What do you think the Pokemon games would look like if it was solely owned by Nintendo? Also speaking of ownership, is there any public knowledge of problems with Pokemon's weird joint ownership involving Game-freak (who develops the games), Nintendo, and Creatures-Inc (which is responsible for the TGC as far as I know)?
According to the leaks, there will be 26 new Mega Evolutions.

When it comes to the Z-A Starters:
Mega Meganium: Grass/Fairy
Mega Emboar: Fire/Fighting
Mega Feraligatr: Water/Dragon
Mega Meganium has four poofy flowers around its neck, completely hiding the neck so only its head sticks out of the topmost flower. The flowers, from head to body, are red, dark pink, light pink, and white, with white highlights for the red and pink flowers, and red highlights for the white flower. Its antennae are longer and have a loop near the top. It’s also bulkier, and its green legs flare out like pants over the white claws on its feet.
Mega Emboar resembles an ancient Chinese soldier. The flames around its head are much larger and more elaborate, with a black ornamental decoration extending upward behind its head. It holds a spear entirely made of fire, pointed vertically.
Mega Feraligatr gains a giant red crocodile head extension at the base of its neck that can rise upright, then snap or swing downward to shield its actual head. It develops three red spikes on each arm and larger spikes along its back.
