Break Week All the power ups the straw hats would have gotten if they weren't contained by the hierarchy

In order to preserve the monster trio, old trio, weak trio hierarchy straw hats need to forfeit power ups, training, common sense so they don't step out of monster trios shadow but if that hierarchy wasn't holding them down these are the power ups I think they could have gotten

1. Robin: most obvious one given Sabo could have taught her haki during the timeskip. Awakening much earlier, she's had her df since she was 8 and the government was constantly chasing her all throughout her life. At 28 she should have had awakening already

2. Franky: He could have learned to create Sea Stone in Wano and make General Franky much more indestructible plus immune to df, also he saw the blue prints for Pluton so he has knowledge of an ancient weapon

3. Usopp: most obvious one is a gun, In WCI they presented a gun that was so strong it could damage Sanjis siblings. Observation haki hasn't grown since 2014, Oda gave Usopp muscles but Usopp doesn't look much stronger, Usopp creates strong weapons for Nami but never for himself

4. Chopper: more diversity with his transformations he only uses 2 in combat when he used to use more, brain point for example

  1. Awakening is not that simple. Oda is pretty clear when characters are using awakening. Robin's Devil Form is not awakening. I agree about haki.
  2. There is no such thing as immune to DF. Lol. He would be more durable yes and DF users wouldn't be able to use their DF plus would get weaken when touching him but that doesn't make him immune to DF. But I'm not sure how much of Sea Stone would be reasonable for him to use. Not having an entire arsenal of it but maybe a sword made of sea stone instead that Star Wars things would have being better. And I always understood that Sunny is already based on Pluton. We never saw a ship as powerful as Sunny. Let's see...
  3. I don't recall that gun from WCI, lol. But yes I agree Usopp should be at least as mid trio (not the strongest but at least on their power spectrum even if he remains the weakest) while facing strong opponents maybe even able to take out Page One using inteligence of couse.
  4. Yup Chopper much likely is just not being used at his full potential without power ups (useless 30 min of monster point with that drawback is not a power up). Plus he could learn haki as well and fight on level of Tobiroppo.
  5. I would add Nami she should be overpowered making a monster quartet before Jinbei while using Zeus and remaining there after Wano if she got Prometheus too.
  6. Brook is another one not used to his full potential yet. I believe he still doesn't know haki while being a swordsman and friend of Zoro he should have learned it already.

about pluton, i wouldnt be surprised if he used some stuff from the plants for it on sunny and general franky

Not only did they receive negligible power ups during the Timeskip, some of them even had their Pre-TS abilities nerfed. We never see Nami use the Mirage Tempo ever in the Post-TS, nor do we ever see Ussop's Dials make an appearance again, or his Stars. I especially miss his Flame Star, the one that looked like a phoenix. Honestly that shit was infinitely more badass than this plant shit. And Robin's been nerfed severely since inception. She should have much more utility and versatility, like using her abilities to spy. I wonder if it's possible for her limbs to spawn inside people 🤔.

But yea a lot of the Straw Hats got fucked in the power department unnecessarily.

Chopper got it even worse arguably.
Really sad.

Sabo isn’t the goat of armament… He was just using advanced armament before we the readers were informed that actually EVERYONE can actually very easily do advanced armament if they aren’t fucking idiots like kid

turns out Wano samurai do that shit for breakfast
Dont recall seeing any of the samurais destroying the entire colisseum with a single ryou strike, especially the strongest akazaya 9(kinemon) was helpless in dressrosa.

I feel like sanji was the most nerfed when it came to timeskip training. What good were the attack cuisines?
He learned to fly and thats it, even coby learned rokushiki with that skill to shoot flying slashes and he didnt.

The one who definitely given a nerf/hold back by the author the most is Robin, and then Franky.
Exactly these two are held back since the moment they joined. You tell me how a woman who's been an assassin most her life joined a revolutionary army that most of them are experts in haki and displayed nothing of it . And tell me how a cyborg with a huge battle robot hadn't gotten an upgrade for it since the timeskip ?

If they care so much about each other, you would expect them to share haki knowledge. I don't just mean teaching haki to those who ignore it, which may be really hard it seems, but also, for example, Luffy could share his knowledge of advanced haki with his 3 commanders like Hyogoro did with him.

Usopp should have mastered the way of the Hercules Beetle, being able to climb up trees and shrink himself to the size of a beetle to hide.
Can't believe Heracles didn't teach him anything...

By that logic Sanji could have been strongest by awakening exoskeleton against pearl. :kayneshrug:
I had to look up who pearl is I thought he was some new side character of the dozens presented in egghead island, but either way Sanji got that genetic power up, you can't say the same for the straw hats, their power ups are Lame plants and fish man karate
