They had some little wins here and there (Chopper defeating the virus,O-Tama making new allies, the defeat of some Numbers) at in those points it could seem that the Alliance would win. But then you see: Carrot losing vs Perospero,Luffy losing vs Kaido,Nami and Usopp not getting fights,Jack still standing up after he lost with the Scabbards,Orochi and Kanjuro still alive... and you start to think they could actually lose.
why will the yonkou let them run and recuperate somewhere, why not finish them there? what will split wano in separate small island?
Paypay and ulti just got defeated, though they might get up again but how healthy will they be if they do, perhaps that's when ussop and nami finish them off. The act hasn't ended yet so anything can happened.

Not to mentioned all arcs iirc end in just about a day or two in the op verse
Fresh Kaidou (after Red Roc+Kama Sonic+Gamma Knife+Kgatling+Gibson+Tatsumaki+Totsuka+etc etc many were organ-melting attacks, visually penetrating attacks, barrier-haki bladed attacks) ...didnt really fodderize....nerf Zoro (being hit indirectly by wind, an attack incapable of breaking his teeth) by passing him by to target Law by Thunder Bagua...you mean something like this?
The point is people believe that Act 4 would be identical to Act 3... but no,there will be new elements, like the Marines,Xebec,Zunisha and Luffy's fleet.

It was like this before: KINEMON sank the ships, so they must win or they will have nowhere to run.
But then KAIDO is taking the island to the capital which means that now they have a chance to escape when the island gets there, another chance to escape was when the LEI members did not enter the island and stayed with the submarine in the sea, the which can also help LAW teleport all members of the alliance there or when the island is to land.
ODA was in a scenario where the alliance had no return, was to win or die, changing the scenario a little and giving 2 chances to escape.
KINEMON said that they are losing in number in an open war, which means that this is the 3rd time Luffy has been defeated, his VIVRE CARD is burning (possibly), with part of the numbers being reduced after the island reaches the capital and kills Quantities X by RANDOM, perhaps the fleet of straw hats will arrive to make up for the lack of numbers, since they noticed something strange in Luffy's VIVRE CARD.

I think Orochi being alive is a hint of Marine involvement in Wano since he got no choice but to ally with the CP0. And I believe the CP0 is no fool to take both BMP and BP by themselves. So they might call the marine to come.
And there are still some other plots that need to be done such as the seastone craftsmanship of wano, Zoro being related to the Shimotsuki, luffy's vivre card, other prisons, the BMP, etc..
Me too I actually a bit disappointed by all this dragging, but if the grandfleet and the marine come, I think it can be a way to redeem Wano to be a far better arc than where we at now.
