General & Others Am I the only one who doesn’t care about Elbaf?

I would absolutely love if the Zoro, the Grandmaster and friends met Shanks and friends, that would prove extensively delightful and Luffy would finally be able to render him his hat back. If Teach really wishes to deal with that crew in order to establish full dominium once Kaido and BM are out I hope it occurs later in the timeline.

We can definitely expect Void Century lore from Elbaf. You have to figure that with the average lifespan of Giants, there will be characters walking around Elbaf whose Grandparents were from the Void Century.

I am more than certain that Elbaf will be the arc where we will start to get massive info dumps in waves.

The reason I don't care too much about Elbaf, is because the Giants are extremely underwhelming.
Aside from Dorry and Broggy, I just can't bring myself to care about any of them.
Just think, if Dorry and Brogy's bounties were adjusted for inflation, they'd both be worth over 3 billion berries each. :steef:

One of the reasons why Wano is so long is the fact that Oda planned it since early in the series so he had a lot and a lot of material that he developed trough all these years to draw. And i think with Elbaf will be the same since he has this arc planned since more time than Wano!

The most important arc in OP was supposed to be the Elbaf, not the Wano. Initially, after all, Oda took the prototype of pirates as Vikings, and all the secrets and the most important events of caste history and the whole world were to be revealed there (especially since the inhabitants live there for 300 years and could preserve the history of the past), and not in the country of samurai. Elbaf will be the center of the next world war saga - Ragnarok.
But yes, there is no enthusiasm for the future events of this manga.

This theory makes sense because the Celestial Dragons are viewed as gods and Ragnarök stands for the end of their world and the rise of a new, purified world. Elbaf may even become one of the most important arcs.

Seriously.

Yeah it’s been foreshadowed since Little Garden and will probably do wonders for the SHs character-wise (especially Ussop). Yeah Big Mom hyped up Elbaf when she said that their forces would letter beat the other Yonko and the WG.

That’s all fine, but at this point I really want to get into the overarching story. Like what’s up with Imu and the Gorosei? What are Blackbeard and Aokiji up to? Can we get some void century lore? Where (and what) is Raftel and what is the One Piece? What about the ancient weapons?!

I just feel like Elbaf will more than likely be a Zou or Dressrosa type stop gap arc that isn’t directly related to the overarching story, which honestly would just feel like stalling to me. Wano has already dragged way too long and hasn’t been even remotely good enough to justify its length. Another arc of stalling would be too much imo.
I dont understand how people are wanking themselves off thinking this is gonna be this huge important arc. I'm not getting that vibe at all lol

I don't think it's as important as people make it out to be

I predict a 20-30 chapter arc
Sounds pretty legit. Enough time for Usopp to meet and socialize with the giants, the Road Poneglyph and some little storyplot to be processed.
