Anime is garbage. Why?

Because Anime is art. All art is garbage.

Appreciating art is the biggest ego-stroke you can possibly do. It's all about YOU and YOUR pleasure consuming media. Media that takes you out of your own shitty reality.

I look down on people who enjoy art, anime, manga, video games, movies, comic books. It's honestly pathetic. Do you seriously have nothing better to work towards in your free time? What about appreciating a nice sunset?
You are ADDICTED to art. Because you are SCARED of reality.

Art is all about aesthetics. There actually isn't any substance. Manchildren will say One Piece is "kino" but it's just an empty story for empty people. Like all art.

Now that is quite a wild take, just “enjoying” it is something you look down on?

If you had said addicted to or something alike I could understand your POV. But art is something more or less any human enjoy in one form or another. The term art is ambiguous because it could be anything, even designing a garden is a form of art.
The arrangement of your room is too a form of “art”

It is enjoyed by the successful just as much as the “unsuccessful”

A sunset happens naturally on a reliable schedule and without effort or inherent meaning; a drawing of a sunset requires capturing an ordinary moment in a way that elicits emotion from the viewer and therefore involves much more work to convey substance…therefore, all things being equal, enjoying various media and art forms is the only true sign of understanding what makes reality worth observing in the first place. Additionally, you sound like a miserable, unrepentant cretin, so maybe learning how to unironically find satisfaction in things would be a step in the right direction :hapnoel:

It won't say you're wrong, it may be true and applied to some other ppl ....
But what exactly made you write these, did you experience something in your life recently or this is perhaps reflection of oneself that you found out recently or your belief coming out from your close friends/relatives being affected by it.......
That's what I'm curious.

Anime/Drawing/Cartoon/Games/Fictional Movies etc all are a forms of art**
(This is not about the visual art, but the art which is a skill of imaginative works, the ideas, creativity, etc)
This art is the same as what you've listened to a song
Did you like songs?? Music?? Did you like songs only because the person singing is good.........I guess not. The lyrics, music, tone, rhythm, tempo, chord etc are all the things that make up the song. All of these are the "art" created by the artist ( musician, singer)
That art is the talent that attracts ppl without knowing.

You're probably talking on behalf of only those certain individual with zero life that needs to cling on these imaginative works by ppl of the same species.
