General & Others Are the complaints for WCI and Wano exaggerated?

Both terrible arcs, carried by some hype moments here and there.

Though there is a recency bias, people talk like they're worse than Fishman Island, which is not possible.

Wci was good. Had alot of flaws but was good. I could see me rewatching it for clues. Wano wad not good. Had alot of good development strenghtwise but they tried to appeal to money to much it wasn't really an arc for fans.

Wano was One Piece in franchise mode. Though the parts from Nika to now have been great so let's hope it continues.

This is completely subjective whether you like these arcs or not. Reading wano weakly it had ups and downs. 6/10 imo and this arc was Kaido's arc so I enjoyed it more in general

Nah Wano fucked with the overall narrative of One Piece with including Nika and completely changing Luffy’s fruit.

WCI people complained about the second half being drawn out and repetitive. Which is valid cause it was. But at least it’s done with.

Sanji has his family subplot but it’s not gonna get a lot of attention overall. Nika is gonna be in our face for the rest of the series

Both arcs suffer issues that have been a thing since FMI and other stuff that deserve criticism for sure, but there are just many ridiculous complaints based on hearcanons, failed theories, bias and overall garbage takes.
