Nami literally acknowledged sanji as the captain when luffy wasn't around, in the hierchy she is lower than sanji, she was never called one of luffy's wings, sanji and zoro were
The wings are an easy concept to understand, specially when Nami herself acknowledges that sanji is higher in the hierchy than she is, remember when she and chopper considered sanji the captain during the dresrosa?
Or when sanji was the one who convinced her to let usopp and go? He showed far more maturity and leadership skills
Zoro & Nami are Luffys pillars, but not in a way that's related to stregnth/power.
Zoro & Sanji are the wings that'll carry Luffy to being Pirate King when it comes to facing the dangerous enemies up ahead. Nami's role is to guide them.
She tells them what to do & where to go while Zoro & Sanji do majority of the work, which results in combat. Nami isn't a great combatant.
Wano has made that perfectly clear. So while you classify Sanji as "just a cook" know that the cook is often in charge of protecting your favorite girl. Nami is a navigator, her role is directing the ship.
Nami just isn't that person.

Zoro being a swordsman makes his role obvious.
Sanji cooks during the down times on the ship. Nami's role is to guide them while on the ship.
However, when you're facing the main enemy & their top 2 strongest fighters, Zoro & Sanji step up because the rest of the crew just can't compete with that specific enemy.
Sanji was literally the captain in luffy's absence and was referred to as luffy's wings, he is luffy's pillar, Nami is important, but not as important as sanji
Sanji showed better leadership skills than she did, and he showed far more maturity during water 7
Also the "I can't become pirate king without you" is proof enough, it's not just about strength, just stop trying to downplay sanji's importance when Nami and Robin themselves acknowledge sanji as a more important character and as a true pillar to the crew and luffy
It was once said that Nami is the ship's captain(the working one, don't remember exact words or the source, either SBS or data book). Apart from Zoro, Nami, Luffy being oda's main characters(which should be obvious). There are some scenes especially in early series, where it is shown that those three are more important. Like with Alabasta, it was those three who were present in all important decisions(when first taking Vivi's request and all) and also about. Even the whole scene with Bellamy/BB. So yeah, she is essentially the actual right hand along with Zoro, but this is shounen... and even doa shifted all his focus on fights now. So Zoro and Sanji can be considered his so-called "Wings" as fighters. Though since it's been avoided being explicitly mentioned that Zoro is Luffy's right hand man or Nami is right/left hand. I am assuming oda just wants to stop keep things neutral among the crew at least in the story.
Nami was never the right hand or left hand, it was always sanji and zoro, who lead the crew during water 7 and ennies lobby, who declared their loyalty at thriller bark? Who became captain temporarily and who become vice captain?

The navigation won't be possible without Nami
The food won't be possible without Sanji
The ship maintenance won't be possible without Franky
The Poneglyph reading won't be possible without Robin
The desease and poison treatment won't be possible without Chopper
Zoro and Sanji being wings just means they are the second strongest in the crew after Luffy
I remember a fan asking Oda to draw the SHs with his left hand and he only drew Luffy, Zoro and Nami. That's a hint imo
There's also Luffy, Zoro and Nami alone being present at BB's dream speech.
Overall, I see Luffy, Zoro and Nami as the 3 main protagonists. They were also the starting 3 and the one's that represent the 3 main wishes; Strength (Zoro), infamy (Luffy) and wealth (Nami)
No it’s good that he did that because some fans are illiterate and tried to minimise Sanji’s role by treating him as if he wasn’t Gaban’s parallel. That cover page was the final nail in the cofffin, there are now no longer any good faith arguments to say that Sanji isn’t the Third most important Strawhat.

I see your logic, but I think a distinction would've been appropriate because Hands/Arms would still respect Rayleigh's position as the dominant limb by virtue of having an actual title to denote his superiority in rank.
Wings as an exclusive choice to Luffy would underline the parity Oda has insisted on for Zoro and Sanji from the beginning, as equals in standing and fighting.
"If anything, the only trio that matters is the OG, Luffy, Zoro, Nami. They are the captain's left and right hands. Sanji is just a cook."
Is something see often from people who want to downplay Sanji's importance in the crew, and the validity of the "Monster Trio" as a concept.
Now, as well already know, there will likely never be an official leadership role in the SHs besides the captain, but there are of course times when the crewmates will take the lead where Luffy cannot.
Although every member has had moments of leadership, Zoro takes this role most often, followed by Sanji. In Onigashima, these two are portrayed as a cut above the others, most recently in 1019 when Robin refers to Sanji as one of the Pirate King's Wings.
I absolutely love Nami, she's in my top 5 of favorite One Piece characters and I understand the crew would be dead 100x over if she wasn't around. But what am I missing here?
she's not weak to women, lollo would listen to her if he really had to, she's the navigator and can get the whole crew from island A to island B.
sanji is of lesser importance than the navigator and lollo would throw a fit if he had to follow sanji's plan (which is a shame bc Sanji can come up with a clever plan alright).
