I don't remember ever thinking of bum as an insult for someone who is homeless or has trouble having a job, but I saw a video of a person crying because they were called a bum, and I think that's super weird to insult people like that

Especially because I am not natively english

I'm not fumbling over myself man but I was really surprised by seeing that video, that people would unironically call others bums and there was someone called that who was crying about it, I think they said "I am not a bum, I am a human being" and I have been thinking about that so I wanted to mention it
