Yeah what a great excuse, Zoro and Sanji fans are the problem as always :)))))
for real, Zoro had great feats, gave Kaido a scar, unlocked adv CoC and defeated King
Sanji had a great character moment + development, unlocked blue flames and defeated Queen.
Really bad arc for Zoro and Sanji fans because ZKK and S vs K didn’t happen….

Let’s not forget the real problems like:
- stupid fake deaths
- short fights ( flying 6)
- characters like Usopp, Chopper and Brook did not shine
- power ups through flashbacks and defeat
- dragged plot lines
- no tension
- countless unsolved plot lines
- no awakening or good flashback for Kaido
- Queen being dumb and hurting his allies
- Tama's plot device df
- the Gifters having ugly ass designs
- BMP being useless
etc.
Don’t forget that Wano was the finale of the Yonko saga and was built up since Punk Hazard

Wano in terms of plot and save island, was the best arc of One Piece. I'm not going to think that everything in Wano was rubbish because the Onigashima battle was "disappointing" (in quotes because Oda is bad and has always been bad with battle/PL management).
Eichiro Oda doesn't know how to write fights. He is an author who simply writes/draws the manga without using a single character speech bubble to explain what is happening. In addition to several inconsistencies such as high level characters having difficulty against much weaker characters then easily beating them, literally retcon King in 5 chapters and etc etc...

I remember sometime around wano I was hoping One Piece didnt get popular because it wpuld drop in quality but amazingly the time between Enis Lobby and the timeskio were amazing. though I and many others were skeptical about the timeskip. The depature from shabondy was good and fishman island wasnt too bad but everything after that was garbage. The few good characters were beaten sometimes off screen and or we havent seen them since. Oda did a good job hyping up some plot points but they all fell flat.
for exampke I like cracker and the fight was pretty decent but the hype moment was big mom sending an army against Luffy. Not only was it offscreened but they put him in a cell with no serious guards.
wano was disappointing. I liked when Jenbe showed up but the whole momo getting kidnapped was whack. The Zoro hype was lame aswell. I dont want to see Zoro stop an attack from two Yonkou. thats like Zoro clowning crocodile and enel before Luffy ever gets to fight them. I was ok with Sanji calling Robin for help thats good writing but him running around like a bitch afterwards was cringe. zi think after Zou I gave up on the anime but im not even hype to see nikka luffy animated.
Needless to say the spoilers for the new chapter are the worst ive read since the leaks from game of thrones ending. Im also disgusted by the growing notice of racism in the manga such as im sure they made whos who white in the anime because they found oht King was dark skinned. Why big mom would beat up Kaidous crew using Adcoc and not use it on law and kidd is terribke writing and the entire fandom is wondering what damage Kidd actually did in his fight with two Yonkous which seems zero.

I didn't agree with the people who complained about Big Mom until we got to the point of her big fight. Where her offensive Haki didn't exist, her durability didn't allow her to stand up to tinfoil origami, and her children just completely failed to exist.

Yes and No
I like most of Act 1, late Onigashima and Oden FB, but its clear that Wano wasnt the best Arc in post-TS, the build up in act 2 was full of minor plots that no one cared about, and especilly early Onigashima was really bad, with things like Ice-Oni, Hyo, Gifter/Tama, BM running around, Sanji bullshit, P1/Ulti and Scabbards drama.
The final fights were good, especially Robin, Zoro and Luffy ones, and also the when the CP0 started to move seems like the arc was really relevant to the world, yet a thing everyone could agree is that there was no real threat to the Alliance, especially after Luffy and adult Momo comming back from falling from Onigashima, that the victory become clear.
Of all Wano things the one i hated the most is probably one of the most important to the Arc, the Hito Hito no Mi: model Nika, not just feel like something Oda came up in the chapter of Jinbei vs WsW, because the total lack of foreshadow, that could be easy put in places like Shandora and and Fishman Island that had heavy connection to Joy Boy or even in a small dialogue of the Gorosei about Luffy with one of them commenting something like "And that Garp grandson, his fruit....", what would plant the seeds for his fruit being something more.
Not that i dislike the Powers of Nika fruit, i thinked they could just be the Awakening of the Gomu Gomu without the name change, and with a small foreshadow of it before the TS woud change this thing of the Gorosei knowing Luffy is a fucking D. with JoyBoy fruit and doing nothing, yet they cared more about Ace, who didnt have Joy Boy fruit, all the thing of Roger, WB and the WG thinking Ace would be the next JoyBoy become nonsense after Oda created the Jesus fruit, that Roger, WB and Gorosei all should know about as they knew the true history.
I give a 6/10 to Wano
