I love Oda's writing and the directions he takes in his plot develping, even if there is something I don't like I know for sure Oda did it for a reason whether its for world building or entertainment wise which is what makes one piece what it is today. Even those side characters that a lot of fandom complain about unknowingly that they are the small bits that make the arc full. Like how Holdem was an instrument to show the hierarchy of control in Wano system and how things are run, the consequence of causing chaos in the city and whos resposnible in dealing with it and what happens if the threat is not dealt by the assigned person and who's next in line to supress the problem all those are dealt with in Holdem's storyline and its done by one piece story telling style which always mix it with some fun comedy aspects which is what is always the case since the begining.
Now, back to the main subject and things that I would ask Oda to add or take out if I was an editor are few.
1. Give Strawhats more screentime showing their ability to use it in critical condtions to showcase the improtance of their role.
2. Give strawhats individually or as a group good fights in Wano. Something like what they did in Alabastsa and Enies Lobby individually or like Thriller Bark when they equally as a group took on a great threat together which was done beautifully.
3. Give Luffy the bigger piece of otakig down Kaido, as in him having the biggest role in defeating Kaido like Luffy's part should exceed 70% and whatever the allaince included should only take 30% max. Luffy should and could be the one to cause the most harm to Kaido if he wants to become the Pirate King within the next five years in our time.
4. Bring Back Crocodile and Enel as an important characters in future arcs.
5. Take your time in breaks and storytelling, don't rush things because I rather wait double the time you assigned yourself with to have an epic ending than finish it in five years for just a good ending or worst.
