I said nothing about her becoming and actual Straw hat (which is still a possibility), just as you said now joining the travel.

Yep, it comes boiling down to Luffy not using his ACoC to put Lucci to hospital again instead of giving him some scratches which were medically aided with some small bandages. Then Zoro wouldn't have wasted his time on Lucci while mauling his ass at the end.
