All the main arc villains had amazing aura - Doflamingo, Lucci, Enel, Crocodile, Katakuri.
Oda really shines with his main arc villains.

Definitely one of the coolest characters in the entire show, all of this Katakuri threads reminded me of how great this dude was. His design is derived from Zoro’s (facial-wise and demeanor), only cooler and more creative.

Luffy couldn't transform the first time because Katakuri had him pinned down with his awakening.
The second time he transformed, he didn't have time to interrupt Luffy because he wasn't pinned down.
The third time he transformed, Katakuri already bonded with Luffy, and just wanted to see what Luffy has to offer.
