General & Others Baratie Vs Arlong Park Which Arc is Better?

Arlong Park is the better arc, and I say that despite Mihawk being introduced in the Baratie arc, which was also a pretty good arc, just not as good.

Honestly, I don't think any pre-Grand Line arc was bad. In fact, I'm not even sure any pre-TS arc is bad (although some are clearly superior to others).

That one feat alone shits on anything zoro brings to the table until alabasta

I like Arlong Park better because Don Krieg was an annoying villain compared to Arlong.

Nami’s backstory
Luffy giving Nami his hat and the walk to Arlong Park
Usopp trying to run away only to turn around and face his fears
Sanji’s underwater battle against the Fishmen
Zoro fighting while still near death’s door and terrifying Arlong in the process
Luffy’s declaration that he needs his crew
The crew gets Nami back and it’s quite emotional!

Baratie drags a bit to me. After the Mihawk fight, it takes a while to wrap up. It's not a bad arc though. Arlong Park has better characters with better personalities.

AP's easily the best arc of the East Blue Saga imo, I find it even better than Arabasta. I consider it top 5.

Arlong park is simpler, Alabasta is a very big arc.
The minimalism of east blue arcs has its own charm.
