Thunder Bagua is a fast attack. He used it in both those panels. Kaido said Luffy was using future sight while he was punching him with Snakeman. So he decided to use it himself. It’s no wonder you haven’t figured that out yet if you speed read.

Luffy says he could barely avoid it even when he was using FS in 1001. Second time Kaido uses Thunder Bagua but not only does Luffy enter G2 before he attacks,he also counters him effectively. How do you expect Luffy would avoid TB if he isn't using it?

He says don't assume your the only one who can use FS because Luffy was actually using it on Kaido to change the trajectory of his attacks and hit him.

Of course. Luffy's blocking a weapon using his bare hands. It's going to hurt no matter what. However there are still tons of examples of Luffy simply punching Kaido's weapon with no signs of pain.

It's not like with Katakuri where they clashed fists and it hurt because his Haki was actually stronger than Luffy's.

Luffy always changed the trajectory of his attack in G4 without using FS.
