Berserk is an amazing story with amazing art.

Its also true that Miura went overboard with certain things. For example, I felt like Casca was raped too much. I think the rape by Griffith and that almost rape in her flashback were relevant to the story. I would even say that that scene with Guts trying to eat her nipple was somewhat relevant. But I think every other example where she was raped or someone tried to rape her was just excessive and edged on being pornographic.
