I'm aware it's a great fight, but I thought it didn't have many emotional stakes or anything.
I mean, when Luffy fought Lucci, it was to determine everything- If he had lost, his whole crew (or a good percent of it) would have been murdered, ship destroyed, etc.
And in Skypiea a whole country would just be gone.
