Say it ain't so Larry. Why are people gassing it up so much then?
It's got a pre established proper power structure not usually shown in Shounen and some high stakes, and that's about it. I don't know how people were brain washed into thinking HxH was top tier just because it was slightly more realistic than the big three.

This turd of a manga got carried by It's anime adaptation in 2011 which was animated via Madhouse. And let's be real here. Even Udon arc would look god tier if Mad House was on One piece.

The actual source- the manga, has drawings that can be surpassed by people's farts, and the author is often sat there treating his fanbase as children.

He reiterates everything, even the pre established power structure every 5 chapters, (don't know if it's to refresh himself, or he thinks his readers are retards) and he has more text per page than most best sellers.

It's mediocrecy at It's finest.

Man, this is really tough since I love literally every mangaka up there lol but if I had to choose, I'd pick:

  • Tatsuki Fujimoto - I loved CSM, like I absolutely loved it to the point that I immediately read Fire Punch and also really enjoyed that series. Hands down one of my all time favs.
  • Tite Kubo - Bleach. Nuff said.
  • Yoshihiro Togashi (how tf is he not on the list @Light D Lamperouge ) but him too. HxH and YYH will go down as some of the best series of all time.

Apologies, I couldn't find him :milaugh:
No worries.

Also if you liked CSM, I'd recommend checking out Dandadan, made by Fujimoto's assistant, and Jigokuraku, again made by one of Fujimoto's assistants.

Too hard to pick a definitive favourite so I just voted for everyone worthy of the title GOAT for one reason or another. Some of my favourties would be:

Miura
Kishimoto
Fujimoto
Gotouge
Hara
Black Clover and MHA getting crushed.... lol:gokulaugh:
Ain't no one got time for trash :milaugh: Tabata especially just lucky that his series still running. In another time, mid clover would've seen that axe long ago.

Honestly it's not surprising lol. I like BC and MHA somewhat as well, but they are nothing special, extraordinary or great. They are popular and have characters that are beloved though.

Miura, Inoue and Hara are the best choices imo.

Berserk had top notch art, fights, story-telling and character development.

Vagabond is a masterpiece, and I've heard good things about Slam Dunk too.

Hara has been dropping nothing but fire for almost 700 chapters since 2006, Kingdom's art quality is absolutely insane for a weekly manga.

Araki also has been drawing Jojo since the eighties, and his fights are among the most creative in manga.

Pre Time Skip Oda is one of the better shonen mangakas, but Post Time Skip Oda doesn't deserve half that many votes lol.
